“To be wrong is nothing unless you continue to remember it”

“Your philosophy determines whether you will go for the disciplines or continue the errors.” ~ Jim Rohn

Did I say this is the continuation of my previous post?? :D….

Continue….
Kamala without figuring out what to do and where to go…she stayed that night in a hotel.
She thought, dawn will give her some strength to decide as what to do next. As she expected, dawn came and she got up with a new hope. She went to brush and get some shower and suddenly she felt very dizzy and started throwing up!

“Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get - only with what you are expecting to give - which is everything.” ~ Katharine Hepburn

This was an indication to her of an additional member in the family. First she got very excited and thought to tell hubby but soon she decided not to. She felt that in her hubby’s stress this will be adding more fire and hence she decided to take an apartment near to her work place.

“Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and go to work.” ~ H.L. Hunt
Life went on, it was almost a year or so and one day Kamala with her new born kid was going in the mall and suddenly the toy fell from the stroller and a man rushed and picked it up to hand it over to Kamala. All this was happening when Kamala’s hubby suddenly saw Kamala standing with a stroller and a man beside her…!

“It is our illusions that create the world”

Hubby dear felt its too late now and he walked away with a sad face and longing heart….

“If I had a wish,..I would be your tears,..To be born in your eyes and die on your lips.BUT if you were my tears,..i would never cry ....In fear of loosing you!!”

“He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realise.”

We all say a change is always good, it brings lot of good things and we must embrace it positively. But what if the change is for not good?

Say instance, you make friends with someone for there good nature and after a while you realize your friend isn’t the same…now that is a change in behavior so what would you call that…?

“There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction” ~ Winston Churchill

Kamala was very happy with her love marriage as her hubby was the kind whom she always dreamt of. The loving and calm personality that he had which made her think very high of him. She always used to feel he is so different from others and she is so lucky to have him as her partner. Kamala’s husband was a software engineer. He was very hard working and yes a loving husband too! But as the competition was increasing he was having issues at work and he was trying his best to solve those issues so that he can nominated for his promotion.

“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking” ~ Marcus Aurelius

Life isn’t easy with everything we all know this fact. There are lay-offs, office politics and what not, but one doesn’t just go and kill anyone or one doesn’t leave to live :D…I liked this when I thought in mind…how can your job frustrations let you not live … infact I have often seen people gain strength from there close ones and next day when they get back to work they give that punch with full force to achieve the success and desired goals.

“Life can either be accepted or changed. If it is not accepted, it must be changed. If it cannot be changed, then it must be accepted.”

Kamala was noticing hubby’s change of attitude and everytime she asked him he discussed about his office problems and Kamala like a good friend always listened to him and would give him strength and support in a manner to relieve him with his stress off.

Things got worse in the office and it started showing in his behavior too. He was no more the calm and sweet guy. He used to be frustrated with an angry face, always yelling…even if its just a music that is put loud, he will yell and ask what is it? Things started getting out of control …the pleasing couple where only love existed every moment in there company…things started getting dry. There were no more talks, he used to put on the TV or watch movie and this was always a big valley between Kamala and her hubby. There were no more talks, only necessary talks were exchanged such as what’s to eat…where things are kept …am going to work etc.

“A sad thing in life is that sometimes you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and you just have to let go.”

Kamala married him because he was different but now she started thinking there is nothing as different!!! The two, once known as love birds… were now strangers.

Since there was no talk…the distance grew and Kamala had to take a decision as she couldn’t live like this. One day when Hubby came home, Kamala wasn’t there sitting waiting for him. He thought she must be in the washroom! He waited for some sort of noise to happen as if Kamala is busy doing something! As usual hubby came and started watching his movie with few peanuts in his hand.

“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.” ~ James Dean

It was 10 at night and that’s when hubby felt to look for Kamala. It was too late. When he went to the bedroom, he saw the note –

“When life demands more of people than they demand of life - as is ordinarily the case - what results is a resentment of life almost as deep-seated as the fear of death”

Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.

I have a toddler friend who is no more a toddler as she is turning 8 today :D!
Her name is Rhea and she is such a tall girl in her class that its hard to believe she is only 8 :D
But she is a very good girl who always listens to her parents and has lot of patience as well. I admire her maturity and understanding that she has which is very rare for a girl of this age.

“A little girl is sugar and spice and everything nice - especially when she's Rhea.”

I asked her what she wants for her birthday and she said – a sharpener for her school !!! First I laughed …but then eventually it started getting sinking in…! I was never a low profile kid. I was a very demanding kid and my dad always fulfilled them.

“Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility” ~ Kate Douglas Wiggin

Rhea made me realize that she is such a nice kid to be for this generation …as usually its always “we were so good…those were the kids and now a days kids are this n that…”

There is always something to learn from kids.

“Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man.” ~Rabindranath Tagore

I wish you Rhea a very happy, fun-filled birthday. May all your dreams come true and God bless you

I want my friends also to wish for such a wonderful girl. When I read her blog,

  • I feel she writes better than me :D

Good Luck to you my dear

“You play the hand you're dealt. I think the game's worthwhile.”

I was reading one of the blogger's post and I found there 'What Famous Leader Are You?' and I thought to give a trial.

“The integrity of the game is everything.” ~ Peter Ueberroth

The most questions you answer the most accurate the result would be...this inspired me to attempt all the 45- 48 questions and guess what ...I was totally zapped at the result hahaha
and am sure you will also be ;)

    “Comedy keeps the heart sweet.”

When I saw the previews of this movie ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd’, it sounded funny and I wanted to watch this movie since there were actors like Shabana Azmi, Boman Irani and Kay Kay Menon and more over its Farhan Akhtar’s production! ;) But I never thought it would be so funny :D

“I have no particular talent. I am merely inquisitive.” ~ Albert Einstein

Finally when I saw this movie and believe me it’s a nice comedy, romantic yet a serious movie! I loved KK’s acting…I kind a started liking his work ;) though I have seen many of his movies and appreciated his talent but this one I could never stop laughing! The best one I found was a song where KK initiates the dance and everyone from the honeymoon travel bus joins in and good thing about this song was that the choreographer’s didn’t add any of there talents in it. The actors were fully given opportunity to use there own moves as the music goes on and I couldn’t stop laughing KK’s own choreography. Its just awesome!

“Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.” ~ Charlie Chaplin

The movie is about six couples going on honeymoon after there marriage and as each couple meets other the story of each one comes out as how they met there better half’s and related facts of life and tragedies they explore throughout!

“All weddings are similar, but every marriage is different” ~ John Berger

You will find all kinds of characters from real life yet composed dramatically. You get to learn a lot and at the same time you get to laugh your heart out :D I enjoyed this movie right from the script to screenplay of each characters!

“Happiness consists of living each day as if it were the first day of your honeymoon and the last day of your vacation”

Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little

The other day I sent some ‘Thank You’ cards to few people, where I was impressed with there services. Though we all know that if you pay you get good service or you are supposedly to get a good service. However, now a days thing are so rare and uncertain that when people do show some justice and truthfulness towards there duties I feel like recognizing them and bringing it to there attention that they are doing a great job!

“I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks.” ~William Shakespeare

I had posted the cards and all of them were within California. The card’s address was as usual place where we write however the sent address I wrote at the bottom of the card on the right hand side, instead of left hand side top side of the card. Guess what, the card that I sent to someone else came back to me … lol!

“Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value”~ Albert Einstein

I was so zapped at this that are people so illiterate?, that they can’t even read properly as I had clearly written my address as ‘From’! I think anyone can or should make out that…and when I discussed this with some friends they said – oh, that’s coz you didn’t write the from address on the left side top of the card !!!!! Gosh! Now don’t tell me that’s the reason!!??!!

“I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I do know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve” ~ Albert Schweitzer

It reminded me another incident which took place in India …not that am comparing but its very obvious when I say about the postal services of two country where expectation from US side is more :D! I had sent a letter within the city and I was not sure of the zip code/pin code and guess what instead of the letter coming back it was posted to the right address with a corrected zip code/pin code! This I came to know when I personally met that friend of mine!!!

“One act of beneficence, one act of real usefulness, is worth all the abstract sentiment in the world” ~ Ann Radcliffe

So its nothing to do with countries but people! A clear ignorance is the result what happened to the card that I sent to someone, got delivered to myself!

I always feel, if you are not happy with your job …go change it! Instead of causing problems to others and giving a bad image to the entire organization!

“The first duty of a human being is to assume the right functional relationship to society -- more briefly, to find your real job, and do it” ~ Charlotte Perkins Gilman

If you have taken an oath as an employee of any organization, one should not let impact the service that they are providing to so many people in the country.

This time I had to send this card again with all the changes that US post officials are used to, about the address :D

A unique experience which if I share with my Indian friends they will say – “what? Its US how come such things happen there…:D and we look so stupid even to give any reasons to them :D

“How far that little candle throws his beams!
So shines a good deed in a weary world.”
    ~William Shakespeare

But anyway I have a reason to celebrate as a new born baby completes his 28th day ;) today!

“Think of the magic of that foot, comparatively small, upon which your whole weight rests. It's a miracle, and the dance...is a celebration of that miracle.” ~ Martha Washington
