Yes....the time has come for which I was desperately waiting :D...I have no worries from work ...no deliverables..ohhh can't believe no more meetings ....no more changes and updates...wooowwww!!!!! Believe me friends it's a great relief to know that there is no pressure :) I am so glad that I am on my vacation...:) just like the cat above..but my suitcases are all well packed and I am about to go with my music and books....:D right this moment I remember this song..."dil hey mera deewana ...yaaron mein to chali" ;) hehe....friends as excited I am about heading on to my journey....but a slight sadness is there, that I won't be able to be here reading and writing blogs of mnine & my friends....so not to worry ...you must understand ...after all the trouble of 18 hours journey I am going to reach my destination...so...please do miss me ;) as I will be :)

Yes...that's how I feel as the day is approaching...:) I am enjoying this stress of packing and when I see that my luggage is increasing :O...but thank god...I can check them in ;) !!

I don't know but ...no matter how tensed or stressed situation is ...I need to laugh and have a little fun ;) that's me...as it's not the end of the world hehe on saying that.....my two days are going to be so busy ....meetings...walk-thru's.....updates of the documentation and then sign-off's ...gosh!!!! Project Management isn't that simple as it denotes....but then..sometimes I just look at people and admire as an outsider...and then..try to find what is the problem hahaha!!! It's fun even in stressful situations....I often enjoy...such moments ;)

Today I went in a school for the Spring Carnival ...and I met this girl...who is all alone here...we chatted and she felt so good that she invited me to her home..! I was a bit hesitant but looking at her happiness ...I agreed..and we chatted whole evening until I saw it was 10 oh gosh!! I could see that she has no friends and hence she didn't want me to go...but then I have to go..it was a tough situation for her...but I gave assurance to her..that no matter what she can always be in touch with me for any help. :)!!

She was feeling a bit sad that we met and soon I will be off for my vacation...but I gave her that hope...of tomorrow :)

Morning when I went to get my visa ...I thought I have so many things to write about the Indian Consulate etc...but then it took the whole day and guess what...I eneded up reading a book suggested by one of the buddy bombayite :) 'Maximum City' .....yes its a nice book..lot of things I found similar...except one thing...here in Canada I have never found anyone showing any discrimination...as he mentioned in one of his chapter...I guess by the time I came here ...diversity is at its peak in Toronto...and probably that is the reason lot many people migrate here ;)...so it just started..!!!

And hence I will conclude today as my packing is still...going on :D

I might be saying what is just randomly coming in my thoughts...but believe me when I get the feeling that someone even starts caring as to begin with just 'C' of the word care...it means a lot to me...as my Dad used to tell me...always value people :) and hence I always love his teachings...:)

Today I am feeling some what homesick...:( naturally, when you meet your close friends after a long time and then part with them..its always painful. I was trying to concentrate on my work ...since I have stuff that needs to be completed.. before I go on my vacation...:) but still...an emptyness is still there...may be this is what is called missing....your friends....more or less the warmth...homeliness....togetherness....and lots of happiness :D

Am back!!!!!!!!!

My trip was amazing....loved the drive both ways...it took me 21/2 hours to reach to Buffalo and I really had a good time with my friends....cherishing some old memories ..right from my school days till...date....! I had taken old albums...and we all were just talking and talking....it was really worth this long weekend!

I was so surprised to see Tim Horton's in Buffalo...as I remember ...we used to buy Tim Horton's coffee (famous coffee and donuts...through out Canada you will see...), at the border in Niagara- Canada and then used to drive into US...as we never used to get any of those canadian brand brand ;)
But to my surprise while I was driving down the roads...saw this big board and I got so restless to try it out as ...my suspicion started...is it for real or something in the name of Tim Horton's someone is fooling.. lol ...but it was the same Canadian brand....to those who don't know....its a franchaise chain for coffee and donuts just like other coffee shops...but it has its own standards ...just like how McDonald's fries..something similar the coffee is just Tim's n nothing else like it :D,...difficult to get one ...its standard and the taste of coffee any canadian would describe :D
I remember how things were tough when I didn't even get a simple regular coffee in S.Korea ;) ! Those were the days ...:D

One thing was that on the Tim Horton's cup ..it was only English and no french ...:)

I did enjoy my whole trip and was kind a sad to leave my friends back and so I was driving back with my happy songs...to cheer up myself ;) and guess what...those who know...I-190 Hwy...which is a interstate Hwy and the traffic is very slow here ...as its near the border...and this guy behind me who was quite senior ...total white shiny hair..with sun glasses on ...dashed me when the traffic is not moving at all :O gosh!!! I thought what happened all of a sudden??? and the moment I turned back ...he said ..sorry!!! my situation was so tensed as I couldnt stop the car since it was on Hwy and on top what if my car is damaged...no matter what,... in that situation one good thing I did was I wrote down his license plate # and drove back with no worries...hoping for the best ;) ...reached home and first thing I checked was ...:) my car...its cool ...nothing happened...I was so relieved ...and it started raining heavly ..........so heavy that I just came out of my car and got in to my house and I was already soaked in water...:D
It was a welcome shower ;) to Toronto!!!!!

Friends....its not that I don't talk to myself...or my blog ;)..but am away for this long weekend...from the stressful week that I have been mentioning...all this time in ...and making you all feel it as well ..lol...!

I am exploring my hobbies with the same passion and enthusiasm....my long drive to US ;) with my music....and with my friends!!!!

WOW!! Guys....today am so happy and excited and proud too ;)!!!!

I am so glad that my scope is well defined and am on my way to achieve them...with all this accomplishment..I heard from my friend...who is knowns as Indian Musician in 'Bansuri'..Milind Date!! I saw his interview on Korean TV Chat "Heart to Heart"...wow! Milind I must say...am so proud of you...I can't believe ..as if it was yesterday when we all were going from Zoology practicals to Botony and Chemistry...with all our funny jokes and gestures...that the time will be deciding something like this as well..!!!

I would like to share what Milind said to the audience...that Eastern music is going to make a big impact as its evolving all the time...his diversity with the aspect of different music, different instruments and different notes & ragaas are definately going to bring harmony and peace to the world...what a best thing....that he cannot speak Korean language but can understand the hearts of the korean people and their music..:)!

One thing common I found in him and other Indian Classical musicians and singers, was that 'Western music is good but they are stuck with 12 beats...where as East has 24. The best I liked is when he said 'Through this fusion music his mission is to bring the world together..bring Harmony' Wow! Milind...am so proud you doing this mission through your own hobby something which is so near and dear to your heart...am sure you will succeed!!!

When Milind was asked about 'Bansuri' all he said was its a simple instrument with 6 holes where in one of the holes you blow gently and music flows ...a very natural nature's instrument...may be Bumbo Bees used to hmm and hence the creation of music...wow...!!! I will summarize your quote as :"It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself."

But hey that doesn't mean people like me but...someone like Milind who is practising past 15-20 years wow!!!!! Bravo!!!

Aah!! that's what I was told today...and it gave me so much peace and relaxation!

Sometimes we take too much upon us thinking it belongs to us :)....but many times unknowingly we take it for granted that we are responsible for everything...its all because.... am a sports person ;)....the Team player...:) But I love it ...coz... if not me my team member will take care of things ;)...for a change again I had a laughing day....these couple of days...I was so busy learning & at the same time running the show....!! Today ...am so happy...that words can't do justice :)

Today I read something...

When I read it...the literal meaning striked to my mind and I visualized .....how could one do that ...lol ...and then the actual meaning I tried to analyze...so true it is!! Often we get dragged into materialistic point of views and then gather all negativity!!!

We should always look at the brighter side...yes...in this cactus plant all I could see was those beautiful red flowers...and it reminded me how for some the glass is half filled and for some its half empty!!! Somehow those flowers didn't even make me think of the thorns...so its all about the attitude ;) like Winston Churchill said once..

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.

So I am all set with that creative thinking hat on my head...ready to face another milesstone ;) as happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same...:) !! I am focussed on my vacation and am sure my this attitude will take me across the ocean safe and sound ;)

Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures

Today I am dead tired....work ...work and more work....when you try to accomplish a lot in less time and then you have problems with technology...grrrr how do you feel :) ? Its awful...full of frustration....for a while and then I felt...no worry...:) I should relax this moment at the least...!!!

That's when I remembered a saying "Rainbows apologize for angry skies." Such a huge meaning is hidden in those lines...I felt ....and started thinking...from history how anger has affected the world..the people...even mother nature has it...but then there is always a compensation to it like the rainbow...a better side to look at ..:)

It had been a long day....one of the pics I posted in April blogs..."it was a long week-sleepy kitty" ...Its only Monday and I already feel like that ..!!!! It's time to go to bed...say prayers and sweet dreams :) with this saying...

Ever it happened that you need to do a lot...but it doesn't get done...!!! reason could be anything...was feeling lazy...or low...or just didn't had any reason lol !!!

I have so many things in mind to accomplish and still am there...planning!!! It says in any task..personal or official...the more time we spend on planning...the more perfection it tries to achieve :)...now who the hell want to achieve perfection.....I guess by the time I am about to implement things should be in place....I must not forget things...!!! So many things happening around that don't know how to just focus on my vacation :D...sounds strange isn't it? But yes....the precautious nature of mine...is thinking about the after effects of my vacation...I have to come back...:) My dad used to say .....think about the later part as well...as its not all that fun....:) and I often found it correct..!!!

Remember how we often go out for picnic and enjoy and at the end we had to clean all the mess that we created :)...then it was a painful task...!!!! But once it becomes a habbit then it seems to be so cool!
One can list things on a paper but what can one do about the mind?????

Yes I read this when I was in school...and today I felt that I am giving away things....as if am gonna be born again :)...!!!!

So truly said ....today I feel so much relaxed...even though am told to work 18 hours per day ..nights and weekends ..lol !!!! As they say nothing is free ;) hahaha my spl friend is my boss as well :D so have to do it...either for boss or either for spl friend ....hard way isn't it ...but there is a bribe for me in that...if I work as mentioned then I get extra week and guess what...I don't even have to choose ....my spl friend says ...go to California...:D I laughed like a crazy there...seems like a plan...;) am all set for it....lol!!!!

I am much looking ahead for this weekend and even though its raining here ...with cold wind....am gonna be shopping ;) isn't that fun!!!!
Today I actually had so much fun at work too....my spl friend really made me laugh like anything...and I believe laughing is the best medicine ;) and guess what there is no tax on it :D

Today...I saw one senior citizen..she got into the room and was staring at all the things that was in the reception area...first she saw those fresh flowers on the desk...she just loved it..went straight to it and started taking the fresh scent of the flowers and said..'hmm lilly...its so nice..is this real :).!! she did talk a little about the flowers and then she started staring at a painting...it was lush green....with some purle flowers near by a lake...so one can see the reflection of those lush green leaves in the water and hence the entire painting was so soothing...she kept on praising the picture...and she said its so peaceful!!!!! I was wondering...I had seen so many times that painting on the wall but I was never attentive..as my intention was always to finish my task and rush to other...it gave me a break to really look at the painting and I did thought for a while...we hardly get to see the real lush green...and we crave so much for it that our thirst is quenched by looking at the picture itself....imagine why people go on vacation to tropical places...to get out of the stress and hussel bussel of life.....!

aah!!! my training ended...!!! Do you remember how after the training they discuss about the accomplishments from the sessions and then they ask you...so are you ready to implement this...on your job!!! boy!!! I infact got more pressured..with my exam....but then I thought..I will only worry after my vacation ;)...why spoile it with my own hands..!!!

Wanting to do something is a desire, not a sentence. When I "decide" what I want, I translate my desire into a sentence and then follow the sentence... I take the desire out of my heart and put it into my ego. Asking myself, "What should I do?", brings to mind my habitual answers to that question, it brings in what the voices from my past would want me to do, and it ignores the fact that there are probably no adequate words to describe where my heart is leading me this instant :) I feel like the cat above...being mischievous lol!!!! Seems like training is working on too much ;)

Today...there was a lot that was covered...in the training...! I was feeling much comfortable as we were achieving our targets of completing one by one processes of project management tasks...I feel so much at ease!!!

But dunno, why...I had a slight headache...was it the smog :( ....!!!

Today was my first day of training for PM. I was late...:( there were two accidents on the highway...there wasn't much one dodge van touched the other truck...and the whole traffic is jammed...I don't understand in rush hour why people are prepared to see such scenic view...why cant they conc. on there driving..& let the cops do there job....I was late 15 mints...:( ....I reached there but was not able to be aligned...with the group but for my goodness...the lady didnt start ...she was just giving background...so phew...bach gaye!!! ;)

Well...I maintained a good repo with the trainer by staying back in the 15 mints break as the coffee & snacks were provided..& I needed that caffenie so badly ;)....so I thought to enjoy that & talk with the lady as well...killing two birds with one stone kinda thingy;)

She got to know my background and it was good as rest of the session she used all my project management world experience which gave me a good understanding...but guess what...through out I was tensed about giving exam....:( I have to prepare so much and then want to give it soon so that I don't waste time ...but then my vacation is in the middle ...aaah!!!! don't know...mind was not at one place....I was thinking too much....probably...then I called my life line ;) friend hahahaha this time different friend who means a lot to me...when this friend said you can give once you are back from your vacation...I kinda relaxed.....:) ...how come I didn't think of that...but you know guys...I am actually in desperation to finish this task...so one time I thought of cancelling my vacation...but then am sure my mom will feel bad & sad...how can I do that..:)

Actually, I need to write this certification before sep 30th....guys pray for me please!!!!!!!!!!! as I am doing it every day...when I go to bed...god please help me!!!!

Today is Mother's Day, and I felt from my heart that this day's blog... I should dedicate to mothers :). Initially, this was only a North American concept or culture to celebrate...at least thats what I thought...and I used to find strange and infact used to make fun as only one day for that mother who takes care of u ..whole life...even if you are married or..old...that mother is always praying for her child's happiness...! One day is too less!!

One life is not enough to pay gratitude for what a mother has done..., how come one day would do...I remember the stories that as a child I used to hear... how the guy asked for his mother's heart for his girl friend and mother happily gave it and when he was rushing he..fall down and from the heart of his mother a voice came asking..."R u ok my son" ...that is what a mother is!!!
I felt that many times our mothers are taken for granted and hence this day I make sure I at least take time to say "Thank You" for everything that she has done for me....if I am at certain level of my life or career its all because of her teachings...its the culture that a mother gives ...its what you inherit and share it with the world.....!!!!

Yesterday, I got a very nice gift...a full book of poetry written by Sarojini Naidu. As a child I had read so much about her ..infact she was known as Nightingale of India...and hence I am going to share one of the poetry of hers...here...

But guess what...dunno why I came in and checked my blog...baaah aaah!!! :( and guess what my blog was all in mess...the sidebar was all shifted at the bottom...:( and so I started working on it....with taking help from one or the other place :roll:...finally got into it hurray!!!!!!!! everything is streamlined....but still the clock is a bit...sleepy lol........so most of my day went into my blog maintenance....but still....it was not too late....I took off for a long drive....& I was listening to Munni Begum...after a long...time :) and it just made me so thrilled...."haath diya oosne mere haath mein..mein to wali ban gaya ek raat mein" ;) and am so glad that even now its so sunny out side...but guys I have to tell you one thing....it's slight cold still .... :(
I just feel like the above cat....but then I really enjoyed the rest of the day....when ppl were busy doing there lawn, gardening...I was out in the sun ;) with the little breeze!!!

...what a busy week it was...like everyone I was waiting for this friday to come :) Thank God It's Friday ;) and today the weather was so beautiful...all day sunny and it was 17 degree can't believe it ...but yes...the moment I got outa work...I rushed to eat ice-cream ....seemed like...life is back on earth ;)

Friday really makes me so happy...it was never like this before...but now things are different ;)

I really wonder how many of us really value these moments...its goes for the saying...Until you taste the sour...you don't know what is sweet :) Yes, and it goes all true for me !!!!

I had fun in the sun...though it was hectic completing all the deliverables...and the best was the movitation of the sun...kept me going...and the mission got accomplished :)

I missed a team Dim Sum lunch :( (and worst was when a member was describing about each dish they had ...aah!!! isn't that cruelty on earth ..lol ) due to my meetings...aah but that was ok...I met this chef in our cafeteria....who was making this veg-chkn stir fry for me...tried guessing ..which part of the world I belong ..lol...I like when someone keeps guessing...and they go far than the country I belong hahaha....its fun..to know the perception of ppl ..as what they think about u ;)
well here I had to say...as he went to South America ...I didn't had time as I was already late for my lunch...and one can imagine what the smell of the food was doing to me ;)

Then the guy jumps on religion hahaha it was hillarious to hear his story.. how his wife is religious & he a total opposite ...says its been 15 yrs of marriage...she is still asking me ...when are you going to come to the God's house hahaha ohh boy he made me laugh with his funny way of story telling tact...actually that was a nice technique ....so that my mind is not on food and it puts less pressure on him...while cooking...I really had a good laugh...enjoyed my lunch fully...yummy...mummy...!!!!!!
Everyone at work had left already :(....and I was still there....but a lot was accomplished..since next week am gonna be in training ;)...had a reason for everything.....!

wow no work pressure...but hey...weekend looks pretty with 20 degrees....am gonna be out all day...:) having fun...in the sun!!!
