I love being quoted, even when not attributed. When I wrote this many years ago, it was after watching a protest march where people were chanting slogans and carrying signs that they could not, when asked, explain. Being able to repeat a slogan or to quote someone else's words means nothing. It is ironic to have a quote that means that quotes are fundamentally meaningless, but there it is. Sincerely, William F.
