As the day is setting in,

So is the poetry month,

Been a ridiculously fun,

Yet a challenging turn in,

It was good to wind up here,

Than carrying it along inside,

Enjoyed the journey of poetry,

Thanks for supporting,

From Sun to Moon to the nature

Inspiring to keep up the game,

Sometimes it was for them and

Sometimes they were for me

A beautiful relation we live together,

My Love

I was waiting eagerly for him,

Sometimes I blamed it on the clouds,

They must be hiding him from me,

Or sometimes wondering if it's him,

I ignored this time as I can't take the stress,

If he really loves me he has to prove it,

And yes, I was stubborn and determined too,

But then, impatience creeped in and started looking for him,

To my surprise I saw something that I thought to be streetlight,

But naughty him, was trying to trouble me,

Disguising himself and fitting right in between the leaves,

The apple of my heart was right there with promising nights!

The suspension bridge that connects everyone!

The suspension bridge of San Francisco,

The pride when see from that far on the plane,

Makes home so beautiful with value and love,

The one mile wide bridge that connects the bay,

The wonders of the modern world at San Francisco,

Taking off from this place where many wants to land,

For the liberal and humanistic approach at this city that I live in,

The one that was once the longest and tallest in the world,

The orange vermilion color stands out no matter how far, or foggy it is,

Always the pride of home that's Golden gate for you all 😉

Houses and high rised buildings,

Sign of a progressive nation,

Flyovers and bridges become monuments,

Billions spent over there to keep the name and fame,

Different sizes and shapes, different heights and lengths,

All these and yet homelessness everywhere,

A perspective on earth that would make you think...!

The selfless love ❤️

The selfless love you get from them,

Is just that you also can't repay them,

No one else, but them misses your presence,

And the touch, the feel, the warmth all in one,

It's the expression of love and missing,

Somewhere we have a connection with,

That's why we don't speak but share same feelings,

Who says love is blind? It's an expression,

It needs to be expressed whether someone returns it or not,

Care more for them as they don't yell or abuse you,

They can't even share their pain with you,

Love them for they don't give you anything other than love 💕

Home is where your heart is,
Home is where you're content,
Home is where your loved ones are,
Home is where someone is waiting for you,
Home is where you live because,
A visit and a visitor always have a timeline 😉
I also had to meet the timeline,
In three days had to come back,
With results, plans and timelines,
Three days gave me attachments with team,
Yet longing with my loves ones,
True, Home is where your loved ones are...
And they are there and here too !

Riding alone whether it's cab, Uber or plane,

It's a different journey altogether,

An anxiety, an exploring mind, yet cautious,

A deep breath and walk through the memory lane,

The first time, when was that, long time,

Yet there's no change to the anxiety,

It's still the same after so many years,

Why can't we be the same as lookswise,

Even after so many years and anxiety!?!

See, age has nothing to do it's a mere number,

Whether it's business or pleasure trip,

Celebrate the greenery my friend,

As it gives the freshness of colors

To the eyes, heart and mind,

Please add more of them and cut less,

They are needed not only for beauty

But also for our survival,

Let's help each other and nourish,

For living or dead we all will perish,

But without them we indeed will be dead,

Let's bring our life to this planet,

The storm is coming!

The storm is coming it's gonna take us all,

That's what it says.. At least the image shows,

The one who was painting this had an illusion,

Or was he thinking really telling something,

There's this storm that's going take us all,

And that's what life is all about while it lasts,

Enjoy until then and when it does happen swing along,

The illusion is a distortion of our senses,

It's a journey will pass through...

Life is full of ups and downs

Sunny and raining sometimes

Full of struggles and at times calm

Bags of worries and happy loot bags

Some obligations and commitments

A constant fight for rights and right things

On top of all this life is too short they say

And sometimes you feel it's too long

Remember to enjoy and roll over once in a while

For life is not always full of grass

There are some thorns and twigs too

Make sure they don't get into you

The good old botany days..

A beautiful flower with mesmerizing fragrance,

You just don't want to leave the flower,

But then they are so important to the tree

They're reproductive portion of any tree

As I take a closer look at it, botany kicked in

Since it was visible to eyes, started looking at them

The petals, sepals, the carpel and stamen

Even there we have genders that define functions,

With a stigma where pistil, pollen germinates,

That's the powerful female which carries style and overies

Reminded of my botany class and the labs

Where hours were spent to look and study them

Beautiful days with beautiful research,

A simple flower complicated all our lives,

When the exams used to come with questions on flowers!

He tricked me!

Yesterday night was an eventful,
Lot to cover yet to chase him,
As I see him behind the mountains,
I drive in that direction with the hope,
He tricked me many times by hiding,
Showing up where I would expect least,
I was determined and didn't fell for it,
I kept chasing him until I felt I lost him,
I was sad for losing his sight till I saw him
A flower on top of a tree looking beautiful
And I kept on looking at as a winner to find him.

Happy Birthday!

An extension became

A friend for life,

No age no bar,

Though biologically,

Mother and daughter,

Yet can share anything,

Under the sky and be fine,

Always made me proud,

And gave me free advise,

She always amazed me as

I was so different than her,

Some decisions I couldn't make,

But she does it very confidently,

As you reach the milestone of 20,

All I want to say is, the world is yours,

Go dream high and achieve them,

Not for anyone else but for you

He thought he could hide from me,

And so started playing hide and seek with me,

Behind the trees sometimes the mountains,

It seemed, I am choosing him,,

And so he was par at his game,

Nevertheless I was tough too,

Caught him and his glance,

He shyed away with embarrassment,

And I had to say, Goodnight!

The heartbreaking fire...!

The day started way early for me,

It was an access issue for users,

Thought it can wait till I reach work,

But seemed it was a blocker for all,

Got up to mitigate the issue,

And in no time got it resolved,

Day seemed much accomplishing...

Until, the news of fire emerged,

Multiple thoughts, how? who? why?

Whether it's a heritage, monument, history

Makes it a mourning moment for all,

A day that started on a positive note,

Ended with deep thoughts and sadness!

Meeting and eating was so fun,

Until the clouds came together telling,

A Friday Night...!

I am good looking healthy yet naughty

Lots of tomatoes hugged tightly

enough to get the juice out of it

Worcestershire sauce to ignite the romance

Add a bit of grated horseradish,

With little bit of naughtiness of vodka

And to spice it up a bit of pepper

To bring the tickle add pinch of salt

And freshly ground black pepper

Ain't I a healthy drink which everyone wants it?

I am here to spice up your weekend

It's a new day with new waves

It's a new day with new waves,

New beginnings, new planning,

A clean slate with chalk to draw

Discussions and meetings to draw

Tensions of previous work and bugs

Will we resolve? And move forward?

Team at work struggling and solving

At the end of the day everything solved

Bugs gone, application worked fine

There's a meeting to go or no go,

Champagnes are ready to open and

Heart is beating, will it be Go or No-go?

Or will someone bring new issues?

All that ended in a laughter and claps

Everyone worked hard to release and

So the celebration began...!
