Today I am going to talk about the mix of moments and emotions, when a person goes through. This is about one of my best friend…! He had his movie released and look at the moment that his father who was suffering due to some illness had to part from his family and friends..!

I called this friend to congratulate and I hear this sad news as well…but all I felt was since father was suffering it’s a relief for him to part from the body and I think as we grow we as human have to understand and relate to that level of spiritual thinking…where we as human has no hands in to play!

I pay my deep and sincere condolence to the grieving family and to my dear friend.
I have never seen such a talented, versatile human and I pray to god for his good health and success!

I have made him to promise to make a visit to my place, though he was supposed to visit during this month, however he has postponed due to all the family loss.

But at the other end, he says its his fathers blessings that his movie made a big hit at the box office…am so glad he is taking things positively!

Life is so mean sometimes…its always a give and take aspect and that is what I feel in this case…father couldn’t see this success of his son but I am sure father knew of his son’s talent long before.

I have to see this movie yet…and I have promised my friend that I will call him and give my personal review after watching it.

World Soccer ….who can be deprived of this sports :D…yes but I do know some of my friends who hate the word also :D….! Yes its all about liking the sport and enjoying it!

I am a deadly fan of this…whenever World Cup takes place no matter which country I always remember my days in Canada. We used to have this huge TV in our lunch room and we often used to go for water or some excuse and would wait there to see those…gosh!!!

Now, as I read the updates and the scores…its driving me nuts…that I am not there to watch …! I remember when there was this soccer match in Dublin and everyone suggested to get out of the city ASAP…as there are so much violence involved as the fans gets cheering there team…and I think more than teams it’s the fans who take things seriously!

“It would be nice to have someone to cheer for. The camaraderie of a team, I think, would be nice. Just someone to hang out with.”

Today one of my best friend asked me whom I am cheering…:D…good question….first I said I am hardly getting moments to spend on that one to see due to project load however when I updated about Germany winning the match…she said yeah…I think they are the host so they should…and I reacted quickly..>WHY?

No hard feelings…for me the most challenging and interesting match would be where two tough teams comes against eachother…as that would be the best entertainment and best moments to break records and the moment of the birth of stars :D…!

Yeah…that’s how you feel when you see your team is with negative approach!
Even before the match if you predict that we are going to loose then what did you played??? You will be surprised to read the below quote from Einstein :D

May be these are too harsh to say here but that’s how I feel when I as a PM trying to motivate the team for the success of the project and one single person with his/her negativity…. creates all the turbulence.

Today, finally the Release Manager asked me…what is that person up to as I always see that person bringing some or the other issues rather than giving a positive approach to it…!!!
It’s the faith in yourself….or else it’s the belief that you are setting yourself for the failure from the beginning..!

I always believed in myself if not anyone else…and hence I have always conquered through difficult situations just by keeping that light of flame burning even when the tides and winds were high and heavy: D

My only advise to the person today was…’have patience’ and probably the person understood: D I hope!!!!!

But the best part is my rest of the team has so much faith and trust in me, which inspires my confidence level …and guess what…am being consulted in many occasions for project management…now is that good or bad…the work load will tell :D

I had an opportunity to see this movie by Stephen Spielberg…Munich!
I know since this movie got released I am planning and then it kept on getting nominated for the Academy Awards …I suppose 5 times and still I couldn’t get a chance!

Today I was just about in the Blockbuster to get my free movie when I saw this movie there and said ..Yes, this was something that I was looking for ages :D
Amazingly done…it has shown what happens to the people who actually works in this and the people behind this they seems to live a good life!!!
But the people who actually do this dirty job they just keep fearing for there own life and family.
A very well taken movie with a message to mass that an eye to eye is not the solution…I remember MK Gandhi

In all, we all know violence is harmful not the person who is killed but also to the killer..!

But overall, the base of this movie in which the Israeli Olympic players who were taken as hostages and later killed were never remembered…but the violence went on killing each one of them assuming one is Palestinian and the other is Israeli.

Have you ever thought why nature. …sculptures. paintings….looks beautiful to us…? Sometimes we forget that they don’t speak…they are in silence and are created in such a way that one can look in to them to know what they speak but that too with a silence…isn’t that amazing?
In short we prefer silence to speech! If it wasn’t that way then why do we see people who have the privilege of speech and we see that they misuse it by arguments, fights and inappropriate words and notions to hurt others.

I was with the notion that its great to be able to talk as we at least can express ourselves. I have heard people who even though can talk aren’t privileged to speak or express because they are dominated or harassed by someone who is very inhuman and mean to them.
Woman in the society is often treated so…where she has not many rights…if so then she should be in her limits…and these limits no one decides but others for her.

But as I see world more and more…and live to experience each moments in and around life… I presume silence is the best!
And then this thought came to my mind…whenever I went to Niagara…I was lost in those waterfalls…somewhere far but without even I knowing about it! It took me away from myself…and that silence is so divine!

Similarly nature…I remember as a child I always used to look for our recess time in school as that gave me opportunity to go and sit near this lake. There was a big tree with shade and the sun setting his rays appropriately letting one to go through the spa effect and the silence of water often disturbed by the dry leaves or fruits that used to fall in.. due to the squirrels running around!

That’s where I developed the interest in William Wordsworth’s poem! I used to often go with my friend Maitree…when the bell used ring we used to rush to our classes…and we often felt that we both did some kind of meditation and it was a rejuvenating feel!

What happens if you are not a process person and you do try to challenge your own knowledge with someone who is pro in process ;)
Yes guys you make a big booboo out of yourself…and that’s what happened today @ work.

This person is new to the organization and you can see how excited they are that they challenged the Project Management with UAT test process ….she even came close to where she said..we might delay the implementation date …gosh!!!!
I am the project manager for this and guess what…am not moving the implementation date as I don’t find any solid reason to do so..!

The issue started when they wanted to poke in there nose where they got confused with UAT testing and Training…lol!
Today, there was scheduled a serious one hour meeting with all the product managers, SQA manager, Project Manager, Release Manager, Sr Relationship Manager and my manager and what not…

“You all have issues but don’t make peace with them.”

Good thing was that everyone in the room believed in me from the beginning and guess what…as the meeting was proceeding, it totally became a mockery where people started laughing at the kinds of reasons that she felt that this implementation needs to be delayed!!!

“Delay is the deadliest form of denial.”

Guess what..the person who was planning on delaying the implementation ended up saying, there is a gap in her knowledge with regards to the product!!! I think one has the right to ask questions to fill the gap but seems like someone didn’t want to commit on that one..until ..!

and also…’ oh we cant delay the implementation because if we do so then the vendor will start charging’ hahaha it was a big laugh as how can you turn yourself around so quickly…?

It was a total waste of an hours time as something more constructive could have been achieved in that duration of time. I learnt my lesson that any communication I need to make sure its in written proof :D
