Happy Birthday Sis Keshi.....let me begin this post with one of the incident that I witnessed...am sure you will like it...dedicated to Keshi...I want to see your reaction..;)It was hot sunny day …and as the time was crossing it was more like a mid afternoon.. though it was not yet noon!
A girl walks in to the parlor and the moment she comes in..a lady greets her and she says I want to do manicure and pedicure!
The lady greeted her and made her comfortable with a magazine…since it seemed like she was a walk-in client.
“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.” ~ Ashley Smith
The girl was not sure of the shop or the place but seemed very curious and anxious about everything. She picked her nail color and was seated in the spa to soak her feet in the warm soapy water…as the time went her pedicure was done and she was getting ready for her manicure…! The lady cleaned her finger nails and asked her to pay first!
This is something I have seen in US only as, other places people have to pay only when the service is done and is satisfactory!
“Love of beauty is Taste. The creation of beauty is Art.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Well, the girl asked for the total price and she went to grab her purse only to realize she doesn’t have enough money to pay. She said, ‘do you take credit card or debit card please?’ and the lady said, “No”! We take only cash or cheque.
At this the girl couldn’t think of much but took her cell phone and started calling someone…she spoke something in her language and then there was this loud noise from the other end…the girl’s face started getting pale and she started looking at other people around her who were looking anxiously by now at her …since by now she had caught everyone’s attention towards her conversation..!
“The expression a woman wears on her face is far more important than the clothes she wears on her back”
Don’t know what happened, she hung up and she asked the lady if there is any ATM machine near by so that she can withdraw the money and pay to them. The lady suggested her about a near by gas-station where the ATM service is available. She quickly convinced them that she will be back with the money…and by now the lady asked , Is your Dad mad at you?’ With a slight smile…and the girl for a moment she thought and then said, ‘My Dad never yelled at me’.
“If you suffer, thank God! -- it is a sure sign that you are alive.” ~ Elbert Hubbard
And then there was a deep silence. She ran towards the door quickly and then all I saw was she came back within 15-20 minutes with the cash.! She paid to the lady with a tip and thanked her for waiting and trusting her.
I was thinking…those words again and again,”My Dad never yelled at me” !
“Any man can be a father, but it takes a special person to be a dad”
What has she done that someone who was not her Dad but was yelling at her...because she said she don’t have enough cash to pay?
Later I saw she was wearing her ring in the ring finger, which she had removed for her manicure!!
“How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.”
Any way …I took a long drive just to spit out that thought from my mind as it kept on bothering me …!
Some how Himesh Reshamiya , his music is a hit but I don’t like when he sings as it sounds like it’s the same tone and tune :D…but this one I liked it …’Soniyo…tere bina meri subha nahi hoti (Love, without you there is no mornings ..some where there…am trying to add that in my radio blog…!)
“Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical.” ~ Sophia Loren

Himish/himesh is a good singer but too much of everything is bad. Moreover he is copying Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He can be any thing but he can never be NFAK. Try to lisn to Kailash Kher. He is OK. I will say better than Himish/Himesh
Nice post, got me thinking.thanks for visiting my blog.and please come again.

Kailash kher is ok compared to Himish/Himesh. If u believe in open and free world I can let you know bout some free music download sites from where you can download 2 albums of Kailash Kher, I just remember name of one album, Kailasa. Rest lay ur hand on any NFAK composition. NFAK holds the record of max Qawwali outputs recorded. Here in Indian side of Punjab we have lot more good Qawwals or singers. My taste is more inclined to Trance and Fusion. So I like nearly all the tracks done by NFAK and Michael Brooks. I dont need to explain you that these new Sufi singers are just trying to fuse ROCK and SUFI Music. Some are good and some suck. Himish/Himesh was good initially but now he is repeating his stuff.
Interesting post DON!
Belated Happy Bday Keshi!

aww thanks ALL for the bday wishes! So sweet of u!
Dawn that's such a kind gesture and a very sweet one...thanks darl HUGGGGGGGGGGZ!
And on the story...well even I cant u'stand why/how some women r married to men who dun even deserve a woman! That's such a low thing to do to yell at her for asking for some money to pamper herself. Men like that should never be married.
Keshi.
hi dawn...."my dad never yelled at me!!" too good.. it's like my own dad!
keshi: Dear I hope you had a gr8 time celebrating b’day..>! About Men…hmm sometimes it’s learning to them too and I guess gals always make them right ;) if not bad hahaha
