“Let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths”

This is the only month where its festival moments for all the Jews, Christians and Muslims and I am sure there must be something for Hindus too ;)

At this moment I only remember Tagore’s words…. :)

“You are invited to the festival of this world and your life is blessed” ~ Rabindranath Tagore

My Christmas used to be white Christmas and that too with Carol…now I only remember her since its my 4th Christmas without her…I never missed family when she was around but this Christmas Santa seems happy with my deeds :) as besides lots of gifts from my near and dear ones I am waiting for my biggest gift of my parents visiting me :)!

I am sure this Christmas is going to be a merrier one ;)

I wish you the best in this festival season of the year 2007 as with the hope that New Year will be bringing lots of excitement, happiness with peace and good health (amen)

Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love

As the holiday season is approaching even though it’s a week day you tend to relax and in doing so I am watching lot of movies whether it’s English or Hindi doesn’t matter as long as it’s good :)

“Art raises its head where creeds relax” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

I was amazed to see this movie ‘300’ for which I had a brief session with my friend in Canada who exactly demonstrated me about the strategy that Greek’s used as he had read this book and I have added this into my ‘to-be-read’ book list. Didn’t expect the movie would be this good am saying from the adaptation of the graphic novel 300 by Frank Miller.

It is retelling of the ‘Battle of Thermopylae’. The film is written and directed by Zack Snyder with a genre of historic fantasy. If you like the olden day’s war movie and the strategy that they used then you should try out this one as I liked it ;) and believe me in these men are all with 6 abs boy!!!! Actors such as Gerard Butler, Lena Headey, David Wenham, Vincent Regan and Dominic West etc it’s worth watching ;)

“The historic ascent of humanity, taken as a whole, may be summarized as a succession of victories of consciousness over blind forces -- in nature, in society, in man himself.” ~ Leon Trotsky

Second was Hindi didn’t hear the name at all ‘Manorama six feet under’ and the star casts are Abhay Deol (Dharm paji’s nephew or so), Gul Panag – amazing actor and Sarika, Kulbushan Kharbanda, Raima Sen and another great actor Vinay Pathak

This movie is based on Roman Polanski’s 1974 classic, Chinatown. I have not seen that one hence I found this one a well executed, classic suspense thriller movie. I enjoyed this movie though I felt Vinay Pathak’s screen time was very less as per his talent and potential is concerned.

Third one ;) (is it getting too much movie phobia) I guess so ….but this movie ‘The Contract’ is another thriller which kept me all the way glued to the screen with the amazing actors such as Morgan Freeman, John Cusack and Mircea Monroe; directed by Bruce Beresford (twice Oscar winner).

“Happiness lies not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the enjoyment of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort” ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
I am sure my friends will be wondering where the hell I get all this time to watch and my only answer would be, if you have passion for something you take that time out for it ;)

Happy Holidays Friends!

I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions

“The act of putting pen to paper encourages pause for thought, this in turn makes us think more deeply about life, which helps us regain our equilibrium.” ~Norbet Platt

Friends are something that I have always kept near to my heart whether they are my virtual or otherwise!
When I consider friends so special how can I not share my dreams with them? It doesn’t make sense isn’t it?

“Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.”

Well, here I am sharing my dreams with you and trying to make it come true with all your support and prayers.

“To me, the greatest pleasure of writing is not what it's about, but the inner music the words make.” ~Truman Capote
As a part of hobby I write poetries in Hindi – the theme of my poetries are often nature, childhood, love and at times on the current situation where we need peace and humanity!
So far I am writing for my own satisfaction however, my childhood friend who is really supporting me and has encouraged me enough to publish this poetry book of mine.

William Wordsworth was my favorite poet as a kid while I was growing up J

“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.” ~William Wordsworth

I always felt that unless we take that first baby step we never know where and how we will walk so friends this is my first baby step in to this world of publishing and I hope my friends will support me in this as well.

“An honest heart being the first blessing, a knowing head is the second” ~ Thomas Jefferson

I am planning to have an English translation to this as well so that my thoughts are not limited to Hindi speaking community but it should go around with my other friends also.

My plan is to launch this by Feb 14th 2008 – yes I know its Valentine’s Day and I believe I will be blessed with love

“A friend is a hand that is always holding yours, no matter how close or far apart you may be. A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care. A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.”

“Few men have virtue to withstand the highest bidder”

Its been a while since I have blogged after my long weekend trip and it was not that I am short of topics :D in fact I have so many topics from day to day life that am unable to decide on which to opt first J
Today’s topic is about bribe :) !
Yes I think even though we don’t agree and don’t support bribing, knowingly or unknowingly everyone tries to bribe by some or the other way!
I didn’t realize this until I heard someone at work was suggesting to buy gifts for other’s nephew or niece so that your work gets done!!!!

“The difference between try and triumph is a little umph.” ~Author Unknown

My first reaction to this was WHY? Aren’t we all working for one company and aren’t we getting paid for that?; Then why this extra from your pocket?
I am a strong believer and I believe that one should not be bribed but one should remind them of their duties and responsibilities – but then who has time for all this!

“Though the bribe be small, yet the fault is great” ~ Edward Coke

We all are in the era of speed, where we lack patience and yet want things to happen in the way we expect and to make it happen we look for an easy way out and bribe seems a pretty cool thing!

You do my work and I will give you something if not at least coffee and donut :D!
After looking at the ethics of people’s working style I have now come to a point where I don’t pity the people who take this effort of bribing but I pity those who settle with donut and coffee to get their work done!!! Lol
Can you imagine what they are putting themselves into when they accept these kinds of bribe and try to show off their importance by working on things as if without them the work wouldn’t have happened?

“Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds” ~ Buddha

I used to think that most of the companies have the policies where they clearly mention not to take bribe and not to give either so how come within the company these things take place!?!

It is sad to see the way we are turning into a fast paced yet with such work ethics imagine what else must they be doing out side of work to get the things done in their favor?

I am glad so far I am able to get things done with my professional approach and the day I feel I have to bribe a person probably I will stop working! J One should feel good in what they are doing – I guess! But am sure there are other places where bribe is called as charm ;)

“A bribe is a charm to the one who gives it; wherever he turns, he succeeds” ~ Bible

What do my friends have to say is bribing good or bad? If things work for you then you would say its good?

“Never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing what's right”. ~ Isaac Asimov

Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men

This Thanksgiving was unusual than before! Family was the theme!

“I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich.” ~Dan Wilcox

We drove around 180 miles and stayed at a hotel room facing right to the ocean at Pismo beach. Sun was at the right moment to set when my camera clicked it all!
The redness with a touch of orange in color brings all the excitement even though it was sun-set time.

“Color possesses me. I don't have to pursue it. It will possess me always, I know it. That is the meaning of this happy hour: Color and I are one. I am a painter.” ~ Paul Klee
The best part was the Hearst Castle which is near San Simeon beach. I mean we all have heard these fairy tales and stories of kings and queens who had this big palace or castle where they lived happily ever after. Such palaces, castles which we had only seen in story books and in granny’s stories and yet with the imaginary tales we used to feel so happy and content that we used to go to bed peacefully.

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” ~ Dr Seuss

This castle is something which was built by a gentleman at the age of 56…can you believe this that dreams can come true and you can make it happen and age is not a hurdle to this? William Randolph Hearst who always loved big castle as a kid and was able to fulfill his dream when he reached the age of 56. This palace faces the Pacific Ocean from top of a hill and is halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
It’s quite interesting to see the view and everything captured as a movie right from when the castle was getting build.

“Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens” ~ Carl Jung

It’s so amazing to know Mr. Hearst built it and he shared it too but I often had this question bothering, why he always invited all the celebrities and not common people :D!

Because any how celebrities will definitely go to places where they are treated like guests, isn’t it? And they always get treated well everywhere but what about the common people or say poor people?

How often such things take us towards the reality of life?
I kept hearing kids saying ‘oh! He was rich! Well, I felt like saying his father did all the hard work to bring that richness he just utilized it when he was able to.

I only took the positive aspect out of this was that there is no age limit to fulfill your dreams. It’s all in your determination to make that change.

Altogether it was a good get away from real busy life to a dream story land

“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.” ~ Gail Devers

“Faith is the daring of the soul to go farther than it can see”

I heard a sad news about my dear friend Zainab in Pakistan that she lost her mother!
It was recently when Pak declared emergency...I asked her while chatting if everything is okay and she said so far it is there is no impact!!! When I asked about her Mom and Dad ...she said Mom is doing great...and so now all of a sudden when Manish gave me this message to me...I just don't feel like believing him! I wish it was a joke...as I just cannot see my dear friend who has all the aspiring ambitions to get into University to fulfill them she lost her mother leaving her, twin sisters, a younger brother and Dad and a elder sister who is married.

May Allah give all the peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear this pain and a great loss - ameen!

I still remember her mom talking to me on the phone saying "Zainab keeps talking about you and I always thought its a myth :) now I feel so better after hearing your voice....!" I think am so unlucky that now I will never hear her voice!

“A sad thing in life is that sometimes you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and you just have to let go.”

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice

"Happy Thanksgiving to My entire Dear and Near Ones" ~ Dawn

Let’s make the title of this post true! I am sure my few friends have plans on this day and for the holidays that comes along with it. I wish them a safe trip and enjoy their turkey dinner with friends and family.

"Thanksgiving was never meant to be shut up in a single day". ~Robert Caspar Lintner
When I was in Canada, my first Thanksgiving dinner was with Carol and Stuart and believe me since then I always know the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and no one can fool me there .. lol!
As I move to US, I see there is slight difference in tradition and the concept too; though it means all the same.

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
For my friends who always wonder what is this ‘Thanksgiving’ all about here is the answer to that:

http://www.crewsnest.vispa.com/thanksgivingusa.htm

http://www.crewsnest.vispa.com/thanksgivingcanada.htm

Thanks to crewnest :)

But I have to admit this its only in US that one gets such a long weekend on a Thanksgiving day but I don’t blame for this as there aren’t much of holidays anyway here.

So I hope this is the beginning of the holiday season and to the festivity, everyone have a safe one

"Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of honest men; but be careful that you do not take the day, and leave out the gratitude". ~E.P. Powell

“My country is the world, and my religion is to do good.”

It was the afternoon on the weekend; weather was quite sunny yet cold! A very good time to cuddle up in your comforter and have a nap – yes! I was having my afternoon nap!!!

“Spend the afternoon. You can't take it with you.” ~ Annie Dillard

Suddenly my sleep was disturbed by two ladies in the neighborhood talking and I remember by paying attention to there chat, I heard something like this –
“I wanted to clarify since the name of Pakistani people is so ruined, I want to tell you that we are not like that, and we are nice people!”

“Be nice to people on your way up because you’ll meet them on your way down.” ~ Jimmy Durante

This sentence made me curious and I went to my front door when I heard a knock on my door. Looking at the perfect opportunity, I opened the door and I saw my neighbor wishing me for Diwali and then I see this lady – who smiled at me and said – ‘Hi, am Nadia. I just live near by and new to US. I thought I might introduce myself to you all and make some friends.”
I felt very nice and felt it was very nice of her to take that initial step, when she mentioned its only been 3 months that we have come here from Pakistan, (while she was saying the country name she had a slight fear on her face as well…wondering about my reaction)! As usual my curiosity, I asked her where in Pakistan and she said Islamabad!
And then she started on and on about her, her stay in Pakistan and how her children are happy to find friends around here!

“The best vitamin for making friends: B1”

The lady seemed educated and well versed but the fear with which she is living that she is from Pakistan and people think all Pakistanis are bad, was something which was bothering me! I told her – “I happen to have some of best friends from Pakistan and believe me, I don’t know about Pakistan and India but I do know that in this part of the world we don’t make any discrimination about people and the country they belong!!!”
I was glad I was able to give her that comfort level but the whole evening went in the thought of – why she had to give explanation on how she and her family is? Why?

Isn’t it’s the person who can be good or bad and that can be of any country, religion, caste or gender!!!?

“To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible” ~ St. Thomas Aquinas

I felt bad for the lady and wanted her to think positive and need not raise her kids with these thoughts as the kids will also think and react in the similar manner when they deal with there friends in the school!

I personally feel it’s the people themselves who represent their individual characteristics and not any country!

I can see a friend in Nadia already and hence I look for opportunity to talk to her and be friends with her.

“Life is a festival only to the wise.”

Happy Diwali To All Of You...

“You are invited to the festival of this world and your life is blessed” ~ Rabindranath Tagore

Probably thats why I always celebrate my birthday with the same enthusiasm as I used to when I was a kid ;)

Have a safe one

“There are no failures - just experiences and your reactions to them.”

I had experienced earthquake feel I would say before also ~ once in Toronto in 98, Once in India ~ 2001 and this one was the ultimate Magnitude 5.6 earthquake shake…..what an experience!!!!

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

First I was thinking how to tell my top neighbors to walk softly …but by the time this thought cropped in, the whole base of my house started shaking and toppling kind…the chandlers were like the branches and leaves during a windy evening…oh god and guess what after the quake, the USGS reported four aftershocks all measuring under 2.0 within a span of four minutes. I experienced them all without any breaks ;)

"I couldn't help but be impressed by the magnitude of the earthquake."

Well we all were holding hands as the shake diminished :)

“Love is like an earthquake-unpredictable, a little scary, but when the hard part is over you realize how lucky you truly are.”

I guess it was nature's way of saying...trick or treat ;)

Happy Halloween :)

“Cheerfulness is health; its opposite, melancholy, is disease”

Life for Niki was quite as what she decided. She was the one who makes decisions for her and she was doing quiet well that way!
She found her life partner and made sure she lives her rest of the life with him. She was never scared of anything and one can see the optimism and confidence with which she reached glory in life.

“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it, I know I can achieve it.” ~ Jesse Jackson

Niki was lying in her bed and was in her own thoughts….!

Time was passing like a pleasant breeze. She was doing well in career. By now she had made hundreds of friends all around the world. Her cheerfulness and friendliness never left anyone untouched.

“Courage and cheerfulness will not only carry you over the rough places in life, but will enable you to bring comfort and help to the weak-hearted and will console you in the sad hours” ~ William Oster
It was then when she started noticing things aren’t the way she managed it or expected.
Small things she started missing…her things which she used to keep it nicely weren’t anymore. Her stuffs like clothes started missing, her makeup kit …and so on!
She kept on saying – I don’t find this…this is missing I had kept it here. Don’t know who is taking away my lipstick and so on!

“One does a whole painting for one peach and people think just the opposite -- that particular peach is but a detail.” ~ Pablo Picasso

Her hubby dear Sanjay used to listen from one ear and leave from the other…! Niki used to get frustrated on this and her reaction used to show as how careless you can be.
But that was like that!

All these were running like a flashback in Niki’s mind when the two ladies in white saree with a blue border came to take Niki for an electric shock!

Life can be a big pause sometimes! Don’t really know what happened to Niki but I could see she was remembering her past and yet she was in Mental Asylum…? Did she decide to go or was she pushed into it? No one knows yet Niki maintains her activity in there…keeps her room neat and tidy! Cares for others and sometimes helps the authority in making the in-mates calm and quite! I was walking away from her yet I could see her cheerful face from the window! I felt saying ‘goodbye’ is not the way to part…with one last glance I turned and walked towards the bus stand.

“In life, there is no pause button, no rewind, and definitely no replay”

A characteristic of the normal child is he doesn't act that way very often

I was wondering why one keep saying I wanted my kid to be like this and like this. This means they are trying to bring certain values or teachings that probably according to them is good or supposed to be good and there children should have!

“We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today.” ~Stacia Tauscher

Looking at this complicated world and the time, I start thinking how my parents or even any parents of those times taught there kids good values…?

Well, all I can remember about my parents is that they never told me what to do. I was never taught I should be doing this or that. In fact rather than preaching they practiced. I learn certain things seeing what my parents did, how situations they handled and what kind of decisions were made. What one should say in front of others and what may offend others.

“Children are unpredictable. You never know what inconsistency they're going to catch you in next.” ~Franklin P. Jones

The other day I met a lady for the first time, she had her 1 year old son who was calling his dad by name. I found it very natural though the mother started explaining, I teach him so many good things which he never remembers or never says but he calls his daddy by name which I never taught him.

It sounded funny but I said, because he hears what you call your husband. And true, kids learn from us by observing us and not by what we teach them…probably that’s why they say the school begins at home!

“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.” ~John W. Whitehead, The Stealing of America, 1983

I think the message is that never try to teach kids something that you don’t practice or else try to practice and then see how the kid learns faster!

“Children seldom misquote. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.” ~Author Unknown

“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”

Yesterday was an amazing day even at work and at home too ;) and today yet another beautiful day where I could meet my old friend for lunch and I realize now that we were only talking and talking no one asked about the food or anything else :D! I am glad it was a great catch up after a year!

“The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again.” ~ Charles Dickens

Yesterday I saw this movie which literally stole away my breath…as the movie was proceeding and it kept the pace even at the end of the movie.

I remember buying the CD of this movie called ‘Yatra’ (meaning Journey), looking at Khayaam’s music , Lyricist like Ahmed Warsi and Naqsh Lyalpuri and the Singers such as Asha Bhosale and Talat Aziz but some how I felt its too classical and didn’t enjoy much!

“The assumption that seeing is believing makes us susceptible to visual deceptions” ~ Kathleen Hall Jamieson

But yesterday when I saw the DVD of this movie, I was more excited as the star casts are ~ Nana Patekar, Dipti Naval and Rekha, I couldn’t stop myself!!!

I don’t know where to start from as this movie had all those things that I would crave for! First of all the story is amazing and to my surprise the screenplay and dialogues are written by none other than the great poet Nida Fazli ( I love his poetry). I didn’t miss any of the dialogues of this movie …I remember almost all the dialogues I repeated to see it again and again …am crazy I know ;) !

“Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness. And they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy... or they become legend.” ~ Jim Harrison ;)

Direction by Goutam Ghose ~ I will say awesome job! You should see the direction …the thought that the director wanted to express and at time you could see his likes and dislikes as he directs the movie and also organizes the ambience and costumes too!
Actors no doubt have always been good no matter what role they have performed but I would like to mention in this movie you will see a totally different Nana Patekar!!! I was touched by his acting in this.
Rest what I can say more about this movie…the title of my post justifies as it is about life ~ the journey to a timeless destination!!!

“Journeys, like artists, are born and not made. A thousand differing circumstances contribute to them, few of them willed or determined by the will-whatever we may think.” ~ Lawrence Durrell

I saw my friend ‘Sobi’ wrote a comment in which he left me an indication as my next topic on ‘Meaning of Life’ and I would say…this movie speaks a lot about it!!!!
Anyone would enjoy this movie if they have a taste for it! Nana Patekar is an award winning writer in this movie for his book ‘Janaza’ ~ meaning funeral. The story is inspired from his real life in the movie. An awesome subject, well carved movie altogether even music I enjoyed at this time!

Life is really strange and yet beautiful I must say!!!!

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.” ~ Ashley Smith

“If you could choose one characteristic that would get you through life, choose a sense of humor.”

I am surprised that I was tagged..not that no one has done it infact I would say…someone did it so am still remembered ;) ….its Dear Priya who has tagged me and one thing I want to tell you Priya…your name is really pretty and lovable as you are :D!!!
So I have to post the rules for this tag, which are pasted gracefully from Priya’s post: D

“A work of art that contains theories is like an object on which the price tag has been left.” ~ Marcel Proust

1. One has to post these rules before one gives out the facts.

2. One must list one fact that is somehow relevant to their life for each letter of their middle name. If one doesn’t have a middle name, they can use the middle name that they would have liked to have.

3. At the end of there post, they will have to choose one person for each letter of there middle name to tag. And make sure that each tagged person is notified about this via commenting on there blogs.
Hopefully, they will read the post ;)

“Circumstances are the rulers of the weak; they are but the instruments of the wise.”~ Samuel Lover

This tag is supposed to describe as what an individual would like to describe about themselves.
I would like to have VINOD as my middle name which means ~ Jolly, Happy :) and besides that it also says about me as I am a fun-loving person!

“The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be” ~ Marcel Pagnol

V – I think I have been victorious in almost everything that I have tried to achieve.
I – I am very ‘independent’ and that keeps my dream fulfilled, of being a bird that could fly high.
N- I am ‘natural’ and genuine, you cant expect anything phony or fake out of me :)
O- I am very optimistic’ and many times even the sinking situations have brought me to life only because of my optimistic thinking.
D- I am very determined’ about things that I plan to do and that makes me a go –getter.

“Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.” ~ Khalil Gibran

Now, I am not sure if anyone would be interested but then rule is a rule…has to be followed…however I am slightly twisting this as with this middle name I don’t have any names to tag…so I randomly picked these 5 names ;)
Manish, Keshi, Krystyna, Shiva, Michelle

“The world is a looking-glass, and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face. Frown at it, and it will in turn look sourly upon you; laugh at it and with it, and it is a jolly kind companion.” ~ William Makepeace Thackeray

Who reasons wisely is not therefore wise; His pride in reasoning, not in acting lies.

I was asked to write on a topic ‘Does love need a reason?’ by one of my Orkut friend!
Well, when I was asked my straight answer was that ….no love doesn’t need any reason..it just happens, isn’t it? Or there is someone who disagrees!

“Don't find love, let love find you. That's why it'scalled falling in love, because you don't forceyourself to fall, you just fall.”

Well, I am sure different people will have different reasoning to this based on there personal experience. I believe love doesn’t need any reason it just happens! Some may later dig into it to find what the reason was and they relate it to one or the other!

“It takes a minute to have a crush on someone,an hour to like someone, and an day to love someone...but it takes a lifetime to forget someone”

This is a true story when a girl-Sarah with her fiancé Michael came from Australia to visit India. They planned there visit from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and hence they hired a Guide - Subramanian.
This Guide was suffering from leprosy, something which even today people hesitate to associate with and more you will see this attitude with educated people only!

The Guide was very nice and helpful and it so happened that Sarah fell in love with her Guide even though she knew she was about to get married to Michael in 6 months time.
When Michael came to know about this, he tried to cancel the trip there itself and planned to go to Australia along with Sarah.

“Love is like heaven, but it can hurt like hell”
Sarah was sure she is not going back with Michael and she refused to go with Michael. This wasn’t it, she also said Michael please accept this ring back as I wont be able to marry you.

“It breaks your heart to see the one you love is happywith someone else, but it's more painful to know thatthe one you love is unhappy with you”

Michael thought Sarah has gone crazy and so he left her and went to Australia. Sarah’s love, care and affection couldn’t remain hidden from the Guide –Subramanian.

Subramanian was a practical person and he has seen the world and the people and hence he tried to explain Sarah as what is reality and what she thinks is easier could be her biggest mistake of her life.
Sarah was ready for any challenge. She planned to live with Subramanian and tried to take care of him. She ordered some special medicines especially for leprosy through her parents in Australia and she treated Subramanian and took good care of him by maintaining hygiene.

“Love cures people -- both the ones who give itand the ones who receive it”

The good care, cleanliness and proper medicine at the proper time helped Subramanian to recover fast. He still had those marks. His some of the fingers did not even exist but Sarah could save Subramanian and they finally got married.

“Lucky is the man who is the first love of a woman, but luckier is the woman who is the last love of a man”

Today Sarah happily lives with Subramanian, in one of the villages in Chennai and you wont believe she is a lady who wears Saree, cooks in the olden type of stove made of mud, she puts lots of oil in her hair and makes long plat out of her hair and puts flowers too. If you look at her today you wont find that Sarah who came from Australia, you will find Subramanian’s wife Sarah Amma :D
Yes, that’s called love, where there was no reason, no pity but she just knew she was in love with Subramanian ~ why, when, how?? Had no place!
You don’t need a reason to be in love…do you?

Love makes them easy”

The country is full of good coaches. What it takes to win is a bunch of interested players

Today is special day for two reasons…one for India to win the Twenty-20 World cup and second for getting my childhood friend back :)

"Life becomes precious and more special to us when we look for the little everyday miracles and get excited about the privileges of simply being human" ~ Tim Hansel

Day started with a slight dry cough but the excitement of this cricket match was more severe than anything else!

By now the whole world know about it, I only want to say young people can always do better but the older ones can guide too ;)! Yes, that’s what I feel- respect for those who did a good job in their time too!

“How you respond to the challenge in the second half will determine what you become after the game, whether you are a winner or a loser. “ -Lou Holtz

The match started on a rough note but later took a good lead though the runs were not that good which would give a tough time to the Pak team!

When Pak innings came…it was going so well with all pressure on Pak that suddenly with bunch of sixes the pressure slowly slipped on to Indian team…boy this match was worth the money that people might have spent to watch it in South Africa. History was made!!!

I was mesmerized with the win when my childhood friend came online and we were just chatting for hours, cherishing memories which will never come back neither we can go to them! I was amazed to hear about myself as a lot has changed and as my friend kept on saying about me…I was like exploring myself – the childhood and my nature as a kid!

We as friend supported each other, played so many games, read books and what not!!!

“True friendship consists not in the multitude of friends, but in their worth and value”

It was living that life again as my friend was reading the page out of our childhood.

I loved being with my friend and chatting for so long..!

We promised to be in touch with each other and not loose each other in the midst of busy life.

I am so glad my friend I found you at last :)

“The greatest challenge to any thinker is stating the problem in a way that will allow a solution”

Lately lot of things happened…good and bad! But then I am a believer…what ever happens…it happens for good!

That’s the policy hence I never regretted in life whatever has happened as everything is for a reason and to teach us the aspect of life. Sometimes we learn it from outside with others experience and sometimes it’s within us with our own experience.

“Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves - regret for the past and fear of the future.” ~ Fulton Oursler

But one thing I realized about people, that are when a person leaves an organization, place, town, city, state, country…people talk always about how bad they were and am not saying this is about every person but yes about few whom they always felt was a challenge for them to face. Some people don’t like others just because they feel there presence makes them feel how less intelligent or good or whatever they are! And at such time people tend to avoid just so that there inability doesn’t show up publicly!

“BACKBITE, v.t. To speak of a man as you find him when he can't find you.” ~ Ambrose Bierce

When a person leaves the world…every one talks only good about him/her….why?

My question is why not be just true! Yeah I feel sorry the person had to die in this manner but he/she has hurt me once and I never was friendly to that person…by saying so is there any harm?

I think people don’t have guts to talk about what they feel about people and I don’t blame them as it could be again many reasons – one the person doesn’t want any conflicts with people and two the person is scarred of the consequences etc!

We have quite a bunch of people at work who always make sure to make one or the other person’s life miserable! Don’t know why but they feel that’s the way one should work!

Gosh! Why people forget about professionalism in a professional place is a big question!

I used to think housewives are the one who gossip as they have time for it…but I realize one can start that at work also if they are not occupied with enough work!

"If you haven't got anything nice to say about anybody, come sit next to me." ~Alice Roosevelt Longworth

How to deal with such people, who like to solve there problems such as getting sign offs etc by taking them to lunch! Its like they will not hesitate to insult a person in a meeting in a big audience and later take them for lunch :D…am just waiting when is my turn as I lately got an offer for lunch and am wondering what they want out of me :D!

To be thankful so far didn’t get to work closely with them but am sure it will be fun if I do get as…it will be a matter of professionalism dealing with unprofessional: D

“Professionalism is knowing how to do it, when to do it, and doing it.” ~ Frank Tyger

What I have written above is all the multiple thoughts that are taking place in mind due to many things happening at work…! Yeah that’s what happens when I don’t blog every day :D…! But am glad am able to track cricket match lately…good win by India ;)
