When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy... :)

Meeting poets from all across the world is like drinking wine from different regions and places. The essence is same though the taste may differ yet, you get that joy and excitement as you meet them, listen to them and know them.
So far I have met poets from Northern India and from USA and Canada. One common thing among all is that they all are dreamer and connect with reality, whether it is pain, happiness or even naughtiness it all comes in the form of words and expressions out so clear that any reader or listener will walk through the poet in those paths.

Today I happen to meet Prof Madhusoodanan Nair - who is a renowned poet, scholar and teacher, well accepted nationally and by Keralites everywhere in the world. I have heard his poetry in Malayalam through my dear friend Vinod.
One thing I always realized and experienced is that, poetry no matter in what language it is, anyone who is close to earth, mother nature can relate to it and understand it.
It was a nice meetup organized by community members where we got to hear the poet as what inspired him to write certain poems and what are his thoughts with related to today's generation and the life of NRI's (Non-Residents of India).
Every poet gave importance to teaching the language to the new generation - which I so mesmerize as I remember poet Dr Waseem Barevely who also preached and showed the steps that he has taken to bring the importance of language Urdu.
Love to feel the nature, and as I was listening to these things I so felt thankful for being close to mother nature where I am spending more time to see the clouds and feel them as what they are saying and at the same time at night looking for my beloved Moon who is mostly surrounded by the stars... and so many other things which keeps the stress away from me.
Life is worth if you can still feel those words which the poet was reciting, it gave me goosebumps and when I feel the air while driving back home with that thought in mind... Life is beautiful indeed.
I felt it was worth listening to poems in Malayalam by the poet himself who has written it. It amazes how a poet's thought lingers in mind and the processing he/she goes when the outcome comes out, everyone relates to it in their own way as they have experienced life differently.
An awesome, thoughtful evening....!

What is love? In math: an equation; in history: a war; in chemistry: a reaction; in art: a heart; in me: YOU... Aha!!!! :)

I am a believer and I believe many times we meet people to learn a lesson or to know something new in life.
I met many people in life and many told me they love me like nothing else in life.
But I always had a lesson to learn.
Sometimes, it told me about their need for having a support system or sometimes it was mere a company as they always felt they were lonely or sometimes it was mere a lack of confidence and they gained that positive energy from me.
All that happened and no where I felt am doing any favor to anyone. As a living being I am also being part of life system.
I met people, I came to know about them or I came to know about their weakness and tried to be their strength yet, when I looked at for support, reliability and love I  was able to find my love.
It's a great feeling in life to know that you finally found your love and you acknowledged it too before taking that last breath.
The moment where the heart is free of any thoughts or restrictions and yet heart is telling the truth that I love you and I am so lucky to find you in this life.
Yes, it takes a lot of guts to even convey and confess the truth and accept the reality.
I am happy at the end as life is all about finding the truth and accepting them.

"Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control"

I love life because I meet so many people in life all across the globe and it keeps expressing it to me that love is life and life is to love :)
I want to tell to my friends being in love is a great feeling whether the other person loves you or not but you love and you accept is a great thing.
When you convey this and you get the reciprocation in same manner then its your time ...
Moon time :)

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere...!

They teach at home injustice is bad and one should fight against that. No matter to whom injustice happens, never sit and watch but raise your voice against injustice for anyone and everyone.
As human when we live in a community or society as within family it's not always that everything has to be rosy and dandy. Things may not go the right way always for everyone. Similarly on a large scale when things happen differently to individuals or to a clan or community obviously someone will raise the voice for the injustice that is happening on them.
A leader is born out of misery and pain. If we think peacefully, why people go on protest such as hunger strike, or even the ones that our father of nation did as 'dandi march', 'namak satyagrah', protesting against the Britishers, any such event takes it's against one or the other injustice that is taking place around the world.

Naxalites, who are they? Who created them? Where do they come from? They are all born inside us. Everyday one or the other person is naxal - fighting against something or the other. Those who suffer only they know in reality what it is to be treated differently and not give them the equal status in the society.

Reading about Sheetal Sathe, gives so much pain and agony that one cannot help on humanity grounds also. There are so many people around in the world who could be dangerous to the society in one or the other way and they are all living a peaceful life because they have power and money to support the system.
Those who don't have these, they suffer in jail for raising voice against the government. What was their fault? They protested through poetry. Is that why Sheetal Sathe's baby will be born in the jail in an unhealthy and unhygienic condition?

This is shame and inhumane to treat a human so brutally.

Pain and agony inside and outside
I live only to have justice beside
You torture me, you threaten me
You try to take my flesh out of me
The song of my suffering taking ride
To let the world know my side
Many lives have gone from time to time
I will also drown in one way or the other
Hey people who watch me and listen to me
Make sure you play this song of my plight
To every ear that you see around
Let the dawn bring that justice
Not for me  Not for you But for all!

Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open :)

As my dear friend is away from me, I am a bit low and feeling lost. By system we all have a way to recover, even though its tough but it makes you liveable for a while and I also did something similar.
I went back to old pictures and memories that came out of those. All this made me happy and feel good about those happy days. As I was going through some old memories I did go back to my old blogs in blogsport and it really took me to a different world altogether.
I mean, I used to blog even those days and I remember I was alone yet I had so many things to write of my single day event. Small things brought happiness and I used to mention about it. It did bring so many beautiful memories of Canada.
I had all my friends through my work and hence I had one or the other stories to tell. This reminded me to write story about everyday presently and the thought itself brought the happiness to me!
Those days of Canada were so different, I was working in a fast paced mutual fund company but people were genuine and caring and yet friendly. Now, its so different that people are so agitated with everything that there is no smile but a frown on most of the people's face.
But it's not that bad also. Today is one of my friend's birthday and guess what? he is been here for so many years but none of his friends know about it ...because no one ever asked or cared for it.

I mean how people can be so within themselves?
I felt everyone has a right to live happily and so I asked for his birthday and it happens to be today...just wishing itself brought so much happiness to him that it really made me very happy.
You share happiness you get back in doubles its just like how you spend your knowledge on others :) that reminds me of the Sanskrit shloka that I studied in school:

Vidya dadati vinayam,
vinaya dadati paatrataam,
paatratva dhanamaapnoti,
dhanat dharmam tatatsukham.
It means.....
Education gives Humility; Humility gives Character; from character one gets wealth; from wealth one gets righteous (dharmam) life; from righteousness gets happiness.
With that thought I conclude today's day as I will be celebrating a friend's birthday ;)

Many happy returns of the day Dude :)

Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product ;)

A deep sorrow of the fact, I am losing the sight...!

Disturbed and sleepless nights
Thoughts of you, a deep plight
Helplessness, Frustrations at height
Feelings of running away, or take a flight
Missing is so miserable, yet its right
Trying to be positive, meeting thoughts might
A deep sorrow of the fact, I am losing the sight
Pain, grief, distance, timezone to give a fight
Losing patience, restless and sick of light
want to shut in dark room, with no light
I want to fight the separation sight
Looking for the reunite!!!

Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live!!!

Maya means illusion in Sanskrit language and so was her nature too. People used to love her caring and friendly attitude.
She had no expectation from people ever as for her she loved people and to bring a smile on their face was kind of her selfishness as that gave her immense happiness.
As they say people who do good many times don't get good things in life.
Maya had a bad marriage and hence now she was living all by herself. After work she used to spend time in writing poetry and supporting other forum and websites where she used to mingle with virtual people.
Maya's magic touch was visible even in the virtual world as she had lot of friends who were giving feedback on her poetry or participating with her on the forums.
Maya was in real world a lonely soul. She never let this reality know to anyone at her work. She was scared if anyone will take advantage of her being alone. She was not even looking to date anyone as when she thinks of the problems she had, she feels she is better off.
Besides sitting in her room with her laptop Maya used to go for her long drives where she used to get a coffee with donuts from the drive-thru and just drive till she used to see a dead end.
One thing she was very sure about that every dead end is not dead as one can always take a U-turn and thats what she used to do. One day she was driving when in front of her a senior citizen lady just dropped a bag full of vegetables and fruits.
Maya couldn't think much and had to put a sudden break to her car and she parked on the side and got out. She rushed to the lady and before doing anything she looked into the eyes of the lady and said, 'are you okay?'
Lady: Without saying anything with shivering hands she pointed the vegetables and fruits which were all spread on the road.
Luckily there wasn't a single traffic going around so Maya started picking the fruits and vegetables and started putting it in the bag. After that she asked the lady - 'Do you want me to drop you somewhere?'
The lady pointed her finger to the nearest building and started murmuring something.
Maya felt the age of the lady and she took her hand and made her comfortably enough to walk to her car and sit inside. Maya slowly put the seat belt for the lady and assured with her hand I will drop you.
Maya came to her side of the seat and after putting the seat belt she drove towards the building that lady pointed.

Maya reached and saw that building is known as Historic Victoria Hall Retirement  Home. Maya's face dropped with a sigh. She looked at the lady and the lady started pointing at the same building. Maya got out of the car and took the lady and the bag full of vegetable and fruits. She walked towards the entrance of the building. The reception had a lady who welcomed Maya and the moment she saw the sr citizen lady, she screamed Mrs Johnson you weren't supposed to step out of your room. Where did you go?
The lady started holding Maya's hand very tightly as if she was scared of the lady receptionist.

Maya politely asked, does she belong here? If yes, then she would like to drop the lady to her room.
Maya was showed the room and they both slowly walked to the room. It was room number 7. Maya's lucky number is 7 too and Maya took this as a sign.
She took Mrs Johnson inside the room and made her sit and gave the water from the jar that was kept on the table.

Mrs Johnson took Maya's hand and kissed it and said 'Thank you my dear', if I am right my grand daughter should be of your age but my kids never came to see me as they think I am too old and too much hassle to take care.'

Listening to this Maya's eyes filled with tears she went and hugged Mrs Johnson and said, ' I am your grand daughter how come you didn't recognize me?'

Mrs Johnson's eyes were twinkling with tears and smile on her lips.

Who said, Maya was alone? She created her family in that home with all the senior citizens who loved her back in return more than that she could handle!
