The possibilities are numerous once we decide to act and not react

yeahhhhhhhhh this is a pic that I took from my new digital cam ;) ...you might wonder whats so yeahhhh abt it ...isn't it??? Didn't you hear..'only the one who is wearing the shoes know how it pinches' :D...as I had said ...my previous camera ditched me...I was on the look out for a new one..and today..my ride was on a scooter called 'scooty'....it wasn't raining though but the roads and the water in the potholes were enough to make my trousers dirty :D....I had a good cam purchase and am glad its 7.1 pixel ;) its configurations are really good...and I just took a test drive ..:) this pic is from this new Canon digital cam :D...! I also purchased some DVD's...seems like they are at cheaper rate than in Canada ...lol...! Had a good ride with jumps and high-jumps ;) ...seems like am ready for action :)

Like a welcome summer rain, humor may suddenly cleanse and cool the earth, the air and you....

Guruvayur this place is more or less a tourist place..:) with the temples. One can see the price of certain things which are so high...and basically most of the ppl when they come here they like to buy certain things ...may be as a token of rememberance :)
I also bought...a simple wooden carved book (single book...like Quran, Gita, Bible),keeping stand..:) Kerala basically has lot of Elephants..and they are considered very auspicious..hence are used in many religious functions and other traditional events. I saw many of them..decked with ornaments and so close view wow...one feels so strong and powerful just by looking at them...its a proud feeling :)

We were here for 2 days ...frankly speaking here the sun was shining so bright that I felt ...this part of Kerala there was no rain...but that wasn't the case...there were some little showers..but mostly it was sunny..hot and humid...I enjoyed the food and looking at places..!

I was very excited to leave as we were taking train back to Pune :)...yes...this time I was desperate as the train was during the day time 2.30 pm but it was late by an hour due to rain. This time the train was a bit new one with new modifications ..:) yes...like there was huge mirror..where we were sitting and there was a folding table as well :)

Guess what...there was one guy who was sleeping at the top berth...who got up and came down to sit. The moment I saw him ...I knew who he is :D...yes that's called memory :)...this guy's sis & brother were my classmates in grade 6th n 7th hehee he was wearing a T-shirt written 'Canada' on it. The guy couldnt recognize initially...but when I said he...immediately said - weren't you the fast runner in our school ;) wow ...I was proud of myself ;) ...ppl still remember me the sporty woman.. cool!!!!

The journey mostly went by discussing about all my classmates and what they are doing..it was good to hear about some and sad to hear for those who haven't realized the truth of life and arent serious in life. My best wishes to all.

How the journey to Pune ended...didnt realize..but yes...I was glad to hear about some of the old memories which were freshened...:)

Back to Pune and guess what...monsoon is at its full swing ;)

Town Tiruvalla to Trichur....:)

By now...I had plans...how to beat this rain..hehe..yes..as everyone was stuck inside the house..since its raining..one couldnt travel out anywhere...but hey...I was just looking for this opportunity...though..the windy climate did make me fall sick with slight fever...and guess what...my herbal methods..saved me ..lol...I was all set to go in the rain..though a slight cough was still accompanying me..:)
The bad or should I say good part ..:D my digital cam...ditched me..for some reason it was not working..and I got an opportunity to go and hunt for one..(its a different story that I couldn't find one ) ...but hey that gave me enough reasons to move out in rain...by now I made friends with and hence my buddy has a bike Hero Honda...its not the latest but 2nd latest..dont ask me the model..hehe as I was all excited to rock on it!!!

Guys..can you imagine the luxurious vehicle for Canadians...this was my opportunity...I had to even go and get cash from the ATM and hence my buddy was through out helpful...I must say...I had a friend always with me..to help me and make all the things possible just for 'ME', isn't that amazing!!!! I thank him through this blog!!!

The place that we were staying is far away from city...one can say the real Kerala...the hilly lands..and houses on top of those hills...and hey..I can bet that none of the US or Canadians would have such houses...gosh...what a huge and latest models..that too new ones..all the time it gave the feeling of the Gulf Money...yes...the model of houses were all from UAE...!!!!

So to get anything like a camera or cash from ATM specially when its an international ATM card...one need to travel...:) and as we were driving through..it started raining heavy...my buddy showed some courtesy and asked if we should stop by for shelter hehehehe....biggest and I guess the first time..where I was in dilema as should I be modest or....be myself..hahahaa...oh gosh the thought also makes me laugh like crazy!!!!!!

But...I said ..'what do you say?...I have often dreamt of this..and now is the chance but hey..I dont want you to fall sick' hehe..guess what my buddy was like me ..;)...he said I often get wet in the rain and I love to...well I said then what is it thats stopping you...lol...he was worried for me ..for my health...I said how worse its gonna be ;)!!!!

WOW...I can never forget...ppl were looking at us thinking...CRAZY...believe me ...I never went through like this ...the rain drops are so heavy and big...it was hitting the face like ice cubes..as the there is a old saying in one of the Indian mythology...'poison kills the poison' (zehr, zehr ko maarta hey)...yes I was not cold...infact was feeling hot...but I loved that experience..of travelling on the bike in the rain!!!!!!! :D..the water was dripping from my eyebrows...one can imagine..if that gives a inducement to the thought..:)

My most of the time went this way..did some shopping...travelled from Tiruvalla to Guruvayur..this time the journey was through a Van. I enjoyed the small highway drive...ppl watch out and if in the opposite lane traffic is not coming then they over take and...get ahead of the next vehicle..wow..I think thats risky...but needs a very good judgement!!!

I remembered the song written by Gulzar.my fav.poet...sung by Asha Bhonsale

'ek akeli chatri mein jab aadhe aadhe bheeg rahe the, aadhe sukhe aadhe gile..sukha to mein leke aayee thi gila mann shayad bistar ke paas pada ho' :)
(Under one umbrella when we were getting half wet and were half dried...I brought those dried thoughts along with me but I left that wet heart near the bed..) somewhat along those lines..:)

Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man's growth without destroying his roots.

Journey from Karnatka till...Kerala!!!!

My journey in the train..was very hot..as I mentioned...the provinces that we were crossing were dried places and there were no signs of monsoon...one can feel the heat...even the fans were emitting hot air..! One full day it crossed over Karnataka Province and...next morning I had to take the help of a shawl :)..imagine..it was the first entry to the Province Kerala - Palaghat stations...wow lush green and rainy view...for one moment I felt to jump out..what will happen at the most hehe..yeah guys thats how it feels when I saw the real nature...I could feel that now even if I die..I don't miss much...believe me that's what I felt!!!! Tears come in my eyes when I see all these natural beauty that God has created...and we human like kids try to spoile and break it...as a toy!!!

It was cold...and seemed like the schedules and all other managements have been changed for the train...I guess as the Govt. changes so does the policies too ..:) we reached on time and prior to what it used to be (8 am), we reached at 7 am... I was checking if my cell phones are still alive...:) and guess what the Canadian one was working..wow...zapped as it showed the network company name and the place name..wow!!!! I was impressed :)

We were travelling via Ambassador car to our destination...gosh...I found it so small...but all this was adding excitement to my tour..! Its always different when you see something while you were kid and then when you grow and then give a look at it..it's totally different..I guess...it tells a lot about how much we have grown lol...but believe me...am still a kid when its travelling and via train wow...many times I find myself speechless...word less.but very emotional...I keep asking myself ...why I am like this>???

I should be able to express my emotions in words too...but I always find words can't do justice to that :)!!!!

Initially, I was finding difficulty in adjusting..oops!! did I say that loud..:).everywhere it was wet...and hence the smell of the dampness...and then I remembered my dad's words..."When in Rome ..be like Romans" ..yes..that helped a lot!!! I must forget what I am..where I was living..as eveything is in present :)
Rain...so much I dream and die to play...all my wishes came true..I guess even God was impressed with me ;)

Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present...;) Posted by Hello

Journey from City Pune to.................

Train journey...I always loved it...as train journey in India are long ones & inexpensive..a common man's mode of travelling ...:) and...watching all the scenes and passing by different parts of the country ...gives a feeling of touching every bit of it...just coz..it takes you from one province to another...and one can see the change...right from the language...traditional clothings...gestures...even the styles of vendor's selling..its just amazing..!!!

MK Gandhi had said once...to know India one should travel via train in 3rd class train ticket...I tried to travel by 2nd class ..lol..everyone suggested to go via plane...just b'coz am from Canada...didnt give me enough reasons to convince ..;)....it takes 3 days to reach...imagine..guys...all the fun...!
We got into the train ..caught out seats..no hassel...had some neighbours..who were a group of guys...seemed like they were ex-army ppl..!
One thing I found is besides the Train Ticket Checker..there were cops who were called as Railway Protection Force...RPF's in short. Two cops got in and straight they came and caught one guy...( I was zapped at the confidence with which they caught as...no one came to us or any guess work ;)...) the guy was sleeping on the top berth and the cop searched his suitcases and they found what they were looking for :D....Alcohol..there is no harm in carrying I suppose..but if they find the bottle is unsealed..then ..hey..its party time for the cops I guess ;)!
Anyway...I was still thinking about the cops intelligence...lol...then he gave an explaination to us that ppl drink and then they misbehave with other family etc..etc..!!!

Anyway...since my train was at night 8 pm...we got comfortable ...had dinner...and went to sleep...morning I knew we would be far from this province Maharashtra...we were...in Andhra Pradesh...where things are dry...all the mountains..cactus...all one can think of dried places...one can see...how the language changes ...:) simply a tea seller..in Maharashatra says..chai chai ..(u have to go fasttt)...& Andhra they come to 'chaya ..chaya' hehe..I really loved it..this time my observation was very keen on small things...each person inside the train and outside the train...I loved when it used to stop in stations..loved to read the names...as there are small stations which are unknown..and probably will remain forever..unless one takes train like me ;)
Its difficult to capture each n everything here on the blog..but I guess I gave a glance to think and imagine :D...meanwhile I was trying to read a book...the title of the book is 'Roots'...:)

Railway termini are our gates to the glorious and the unknown. Through them we pass out into adventure and sunshine, to them, alas! we return Posted by Hello

Supposed to be my June 14th post ;)

Today seems like a fresh day :) yes...guess what yesterday was a terrific rain-thrunderstrom and believe me it was a real one :D....it was raining heavy and with such a drastic wind that in the neighbourhood people had planted beautiful trees which fall on eachother's roof...and boy...the thunderstorm....I had heard in Toronto but not like this...at one point it hit on the roads and the noise was such that of big blast ....we all got scarred when it hit...for a while we kept guessing ...:D ! Due to the thunderstorm and the wind I couldn't get any excuse to get into the rain to play ;)....I wish...but then I have more opportunities now :D...am planning to visit Southern side of India - Kerala one of the highly literate,(can see in Guiness world book record), with full of greenery through out the year and with beautiful beaches and so many coconut trees..cashews...jackfruits...mangoes ;) all tropical fruits and many more to add...I will be taking a train tomorrow and will reach on 17th morning ...wow...it will be a new experience...I have made sure to take a diary along with me so that I have story for my blog :D....I am all excited and hence....I will take a break for a while since I won't be carrying my laptop along with me this time :)...as I will be mostly in the rain ;)....The Clouds consign their treasures to the fields; And, softly shaking on the dimpled pool Prelusive drops, let all their moisture flow In large effusion, o'er the freshen'd world :) Posted by Hello

My Love Style is Agape

You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.
Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.
You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.
Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.
For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love.

Thanks to Puneet ;)

One father is more than a hundred schoolmasters

a father is someone that
holds your hand at the fair
makes sure you do what your mother says
holds back your hair when yor are sick
brushes that hair when it is tangled because mother is too busy
lets you eat ice cream for breakfeast
but only when mother is away
he walks you down the aisle
and tells you everythings gonna be ok

Yes...that's how my Dad is :) I feel so proud to talk about him...infact I have this dream of writing a book on him...its composed in my mind...and as I think about it...more..I feel it will be a book on my childhood :) and my life...so then...am I writing book on myself???... these thoughts have often made me to stay away from writing :)...My relation with my dad is so different...we speak little but we both know how much we love eachother and the respect that I have for him...that I can do anything for his happiness :).
Even before I was born...my Dad had decided my name :) ...he said if the baby is going to be a boy...then mom will decide the name :)...this makes me very special...:D...my Dad used to dress me up for school...and since we were in the Defence premises...my Dad had a lot of impact of that and I grew up in that surroundings with those discipline and rule & regulations....I always used to get prize in school for best & well dressed kid ...lol...& I give all that credit to my Dad. Whenever I used to feel low because the kind of marks I used imagine to score in exams...if I didn't get those...he used to encourage me in his own way with little but effective words...and for me...that was a big relief...!!! Often when I used to be mad or angry at something my Dad used to keep his hand on my head...and used to move it in circular manner :) and the magic was that ...a big smile comes on my face :D...the feeling is that of being blessed. My Dad is a strict guy :D...my friends they get scarred of him still hehehe..but he has that faith and confidence in me and that is something which binds me with him and his principles...I want to thank my Dad ..which is so less...but this day I can talk about him all day...see didn't I tell you..I can write a book on him :D...!!!!
Dad...I love you and I want to tell you how much I want to be with you and spend time with you and share all those moments which I have not been due to some or the other reasons..!!!

Daddy no one can decribe in words what a father means. happy fathers day daddy, and remember i love you

Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten!!!

This is a cake...actually the brown leather bag below shown is also a cake ;) isn't that amazing.?.I often tell the person who sent me this...that these cakes are good to see..forever..as we will never be able to cut them and eat ..lol..!

To tell my experience regarding baggage collection...I thought its better to be with a bit of sweet...such as this cake ..lol..! ...as I reached Bombay airport coz someone from the office had called me to come & collect my luggage...and when I reached ...seems like there was some communication gap within..and some started blaming eachother as why did you called customer all the way here...:) ...listening to these conversations...I was not happy...as I mentioned my journey was not pleasant..:)..and I jumped up to them saying I was told and hence I made this trip..anyway...seems like they didn't cleared my luggage from the cargo itself...and hence the dilema ...anyhow coz I ...was not happy ...it made them to go through the cargo procedure...clear it and then my luggage (for some reason) was sent to Delhi so now its a domestic pathway & they had to fulfill those formalities......:) FINALLY, I went to the customs clearance ..since I am a good gal ...:D ....there wasn't any hassel...:)..same way one of the guy who was coming from US...he lost his one bag and he was given his to & fro charges as well...:) where as for me.. :( no money....the guy blamed it all on the system and kept me waiting there by giving his own reasons...not to pay ...anyway....to tell you the truth ...I was not expecting either...but to leave the place and drink something and get fresh...as the whole day since morning (6.45 am)...I had nothing to drink or eat..since my travel time took so much that I didnt want to waste time for eating so I came to collect my baggage and with whole confusion within airline service dept...the zeal to eat was also gone :)..! I left the place saying thanks...as I am sure if I handle this at Toronto...I will get some reasonable answer..! As this misplace of luggage was the mistake of the industry and not mine...all the proofs shows that I was supposed to be travelling to Bombay and so does my luggage :)..it was quite tiresome activity...may be all was hectic as a lot extent the credit goes to the weather :D...heheh blame it all there ..

"Informed decision-making comes from a long tradition of guessing and then blaming others for inadequate results" :D

Well ..I think...Nothing is more harmful to the service, than the neglect of discipline; for that discipline, more than numbers, gives one army superiority over another

I am content...that I got my bags and I can chill out in this hot weather ;)

Never meet trouble half-way!!!!!

Aah! Am back..:)... well.yesterday I started my journey at 6.45 a.m. towards Bombay so that I can reach the airport early and collect my baggage and return back on time ;)

The journey was pleasant :)...I was reading the News Paper and enjoying the site scene :).and then...hehe I believe now what my colleague says about me 'Trouble' ....my journey from the beginning is with trouble ...lol....we reached a place called Lonawala and the traffic was jam...people say it's a 2 1/2 hours journey due to the new highway that's been constructed between Pune & Bombay.. but there was this Gas Tanker got burst..and hence the whole highway was jam one could see the vehicles ....so close to eachother...one thing is interesting about the driving ... believe me each time am saying to myself...God..it shouldn't touch haha and he it didn't ...here I don't see anyone following the basic traffic rules...everything is on common understanding....there is no 'yield' & no courtesy driving as it seems its not a privilege ..but a right ;)
I was only zapped as wondering..in Toronto on the first snow fall day there were approximately 150 accidents :D that took place and I was wondering how come here I don't find one :) but I was really scarred...certain turns and drives that they make it's a skill ..! Ok...so my journey ended up in 6 hours :O...guess...it took me how long to get my baggage that I reached home at 10 pm:(...yeah that's why I couldn't come to blog yesterday ..:(
But believe me...its horrible here customer service is nil....probably what I get in Canada and then when I see here things are so different...am just comparing;)!!!!

Trouble is the next best thing to enjoyment. There is no fate in the world so horrible as to have no share in either its joys or sorrows....

that's what I thought at the end when I came back with my luggage :D yes friends ....I finally got my luggage!!!!!!!!!!
But I will share my experience later...in my blog..!!!! as I have to write so much and am worried if this net connection will allow me to do anything ;)

You can't say civilization don't advance -- for in every war, they kill you in a new way

I am so glad that I got a call from the airline industry that my luggage has arrived and I will be travelling back to Bombay from the City of Pune...:)...!!

While I was coming from the airport..I was so zapped to see the developments in and around the city...the highway, and around it the rest of the developments..its really good to see the progress of any city and then the country as..it gives more opportunity to the people ...it is always from a minority acting in ways different from what the majority would prescribe that the majority in the end learns to do better.

I am glad to see everything...as now a days everyone is predicting Economic powers...India & China by 2020...one can see it :)...feel it in the air.....There exist limitless opportunities in every industry. Where there is an open mind, there will always be a frontier.

Security is a kind of death....:D

People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering.......!

Yes...am back...but not with the same pace :D...well...now I understand why some of my friends couldn't listen to my 'radio blog' ;) ...but even before that....about my trip to Bombay...lol...During my flight I made lot of friends on the way...I had a connecting flight via Moscow....all this time I was enjoying the trip until I reached..Bombay to collect my baggage after my customs clearance...! Everyone left...except me :( ...when I enquired...it seemed the gal at the Toronto airport gave me the boarding pass for Moscow but sticked the sticker with destination as Delhi for my luggage ...baaahhh ahhhh :( ....Yes and guess what am still waiting to receive...I was zapped when the guy at the Bombay airport said...how can such blunder happen???...in India also this doesn't happen...:( I was so ashamed and embarrassed ...couldn't help but gave all the information so that I can be reached with my luggage information :)....as I believe

"The secret to a rich life is to have more beginnings than endings" isn't it ;)
Well...right now my situation is like the above cat...I sleep as per the EST Canadian time...:D ..but am enjoying the hot weather...almost 40 degrees...and guess what...am eating those riped mangoes...ummmm yummy....so yummy and sweet..wow..never tasted those in Canada :p
There are two kinds of adventurers; those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't.....I think my case happened to be the later ;) ....yes now am almost ready to go to bed :D ...so guys am back...with slow internet speed so please tolerate me lol...and I should be back n forth...but am enjoying the moment ;) like they say ;)

It is not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the stairs :D Posted by Hello
