Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.

I have a toddler friend who is no more a toddler as she is turning 8 today :D!
Her name is Rhea and she is such a tall girl in her class that its hard to believe she is only 8 :D
But she is a very good girl who always listens to her parents and has lot of patience as well. I admire her maturity and understanding that she has which is very rare for a girl of this age.

“A little girl is sugar and spice and everything nice - especially when she's Rhea.”

I asked her what she wants for her birthday and she said – a sharpener for her school !!! First I laughed …but then eventually it started getting sinking in…! I was never a low profile kid. I was a very demanding kid and my dad always fulfilled them.

“Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility” ~ Kate Douglas Wiggin

Rhea made me realize that she is such a nice kid to be for this generation …as usually its always “we were so good…those were the kids and now a days kids are this n that…”

There is always something to learn from kids.

“Every child comes with the message that God is not yet discouraged of man.” ~Rabindranath Tagore

I wish you Rhea a very happy, fun-filled birthday. May all your dreams come true and God bless you

I want my friends also to wish for such a wonderful girl. When I read her blog,

  • Stream
  • I feel she writes better than me :D

Good Luck to you my dear

“Fly free and happy beyond birthdays and across forever, and we'll meet now and then when we wish, in the midst of the one celebration that never can end.” ~ Richard Bach

:) Hey fizaa send in "happy birthday wishes" to Rhea from me...along with the desire that "May Life keeps happening to her" - this means that she will then never have to run around the life...her simple jestures shall keep on bringing in all kinda happiness and joy to her...as and when life happens :)

This reminds me of a cute little kid of around 5 years...whom I took to a mall (a huge one), and asked him, to tell me whatever he wants....He said, Icecream and that too those orange ones which few years back use to cost like Rs 4/-. As he got busy with that, I sat besides and was observing him and wondering on how much happy he is in his own globe, than I saw him turning his face and the ice-cream away from me :) coz I finshed mine... :)...
