May our heart's garden of awakening bloom with hundreds of flowers

Today, I am going to talk about my some of the experience being a traveler…:) India, Canada UK, South Korea and US!

One thing is for sure I often wonder people who traveled long back in 1800’s would have had so much trouble in explaining where they are coming from and whats the speciality about there country and culture.

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"

When I came to Canada, people were surprised that we could speak English…I had a good laugh that time…but as I was living and meeting different people…I realize people’s awareness is so less and more over the people don’t have the zeal to know about other places or people.

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change ~ Buddha
They are happy with there own likings such as there fast food there video game etc …however I have met few of the ambitious people who did know so much about the world and it amazed me many times as they talk so many things not only about the current affairs or culture but they do discuss the spices and the use of it…!

“Travel, in the younger sort, is a part of education; in the elder, a part of experience"

So I would say people coming from all over the world had a innovative way of knowing people not through books or literature but through people themselves.
I feel so loyal and patriotic to Canada when I think of the way people have treated me and the way I have got the respect and the rights.

I realise that patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone

All this made me think that when I am in US (more or less North – America is known for US & Canada), I don’t have to explain people a lot as its not about another country…but I feel so sad that people need to be educated about Canada J

“We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aid, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn” ~ Henry David Thoreau

The importance of education is one thing but the awareness part is such a big thing that without that I think a person is blind!!

“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page"

My dream is to travel the whole world and learn everything about each corner of this world…:)

Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness ~ James Thurber

do u know Canada is 3rd "Pind" or ancestral village of every Punjabi. First in India, 2nd is UK and thir is "Kannadda". I know ppl who dont kno how many states are in India but can tell that Brampton is near Toronto ot how to reach Missisaga from Ontario.
U look like a global Citizen.
PS:I dont kno why but I have developed certain kind of hate for US and its policies.

For those of u who dream of traveling around the world: This shld inspire u: One of my friends actually did this. She quit her job, made her husband take a sabbatical, and then went around the world, piggyriding on relatives and friends around the globe, therefore getting the local falvor wherever possible, and using hotels only where there was no one. The chronicles she sent from that trip are awesome!!

Abt ur post, how do u manage to be so erudite and interesting at the same time?! wonderful!
