“Why do we kill people who are killing people to show that killing people is wrong?”

How much blood? How much torture, how much pain causing to others one can see or bear? I mean we all watch movies whether its based on true story or fiction and even from the true story. But I have to tell this in the name of horror movie I have seen couple of mere blood shed for no reason and sometimes I think this is the reason why people are not even scared now anymore of these…!

I wonder why such movies are made may be there are some audience who just like to see blood, cuts, killings and mere torturing and causing pain to people.

I have only one thing to convey please don’t oversee it as we human if become emotion-less then it will be a disaster.

“Wild animals never kill for sport. Man is the only one to whom the torture and death of his fellow creatures is amusing in itself.” ~ James Anthony

A human should react when he or she sees blood, torture, pain and killings that is happening to another human, otherwise if the inside human is dead then no one is surviving.

We should know we are made of blood and flesh and we should protect us in the sense our human race :)

I agree with your thoughts...somehow these kind of movies distract me very much, still todays generation are so fond of them & I also do not endorse capital punishment as you have mentioned in your title, we are all acting the same...instead they should be given punishments for their entire lives.

The truth is, I may be one of those ppl who dont squirm anymore, except if its reallllyyyy bad!!

Its coz of over doze of violence.
But Im an emotional person and will definitely react if I've seen something live, and not on tv. Not just panic, I would go and try to help victims

Dawn, which movie did you watch?

We always have the theory of "Survival of the fittest" as an excuse.

Everyday in Africa a deer wakes up and starts running and it knows that it has a outrun a lion, else it wil die. Everyday in Africa, a lion wakes up and starts running and it knows that it should outrun a deer, else it'll die of hunger.

Competition is deeply rooted and we kill in the name of everything - religion, country, language, sex......what not.

i have written about it long time ago Sehr, the evolution of human mind hasn't really helped. We are no different from a cave man. We only read in the epics, religious scriptures that good prevails over evil. the reality tells a different story. Evil has always been powerful.

You are totally right ... that is why we don't watch any really violent films anymore. Films involving pointless killings, war etc ... we avoid like the plague. We wouldn't want to contaminate our minds with so much negative energy. Why would anyone?

But we can't close our eyes and pretend that we live in paradise either can we... :)

Sometimes we all need a jolt to our systems that have been innured to anything that disturbs us, thus enveloping ourselves in a shield of pretense...

LOL at Antonys comment.

Animals kill each other all the time.
A polar bear often kills just for the fun of it. They are that brutal. ITs only nature.

We are all different. Don’t judge, understand instead!!!
