“Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.”

Today, I really felt like thanking my those friends...who respect me and love me.
I had read a story in which this proverb was used...'You don't value sweetness until you taste the sourness'...so true..sometimes we just ignore many things in life ..just becoz we take things forgranted..so!!!
I have so many good friends across the world...when I have told them that I dont like smoking...they have really taken it to there heart and made sure that they quit..:)

“Without trust, words become the hollow sound of a wooden gong. With trust, words become life itself.”

Actually, why should they do? Its me who dont like...but that shouldnt be the convincing factor for those who smoke..or drink...as they might also have possible good reason to say why they do that...isnt it?

“Wise men put their trust in ideas and not in circumstances”

Somehow as a child, I have seen those ads everywhere dont smoke...its dangerous and with those skull and all those scarry pictures and stories...have always made me scarred and worried.

“You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you do not trust enough”

Whenever I see anyone smoking...I feel sad and pity...that how uneducated they are...believe me this am talking about our educated class....as in villages if people do smoke...there are some or the other govt. propositions and campaigns which will try to teach them and educate them. But what about people who are educated and well aware of it..:)

“Let this be my last word, that I trust in your love.”

But my discussion here is not on cigerrette or smoking...my discussion here was to basically thank my those friends..who have always respected my thought and have totally eradicated this habbit...I think thats a big time for me to say....

"Thank You - I love you all"

This pic (Cherry blossoms in Japan..), was sent to me by one of my colleague/guide/father-figure...:)...a very nice man.

Hi,

New 2 this bright Dawn!! :) Was routed here thru Manish's blog.

***Whenever I see anyone smoking...I feel sad and pity...that how uneducated they are...believe me this am talking about our educated class....

I totally agree with you Dawn, that though people are Civilized and aware of the consequences of this, they still find it difficult to come out of this trap...such people have actually become addicted to this habit...N as we know bad habits die hard.

But I've personally known a couple of friends, who strongly made up their minds to free themselves off this web, and with time they did gradually set free themselves, off this problem....so i know itz not impossible...afterall nothing is impossible if one has strong conviction in oneself!!

Itz good 2 know from you too that, some of your friends too were able to do the same. Afterall, God also helps those, who help themselves!!

Cheers!!
