With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.”

aah!! its good be back after a busy schedule..isnt it ? But hey...its not that am not busy...but I can say I could get a glance out of it..:)...!!!

“Your mind will answer most questions if you learn to relax and wait for the answer.” ~ William Borroughs

Its busy but then I had my relaxation by watching movies...and believe me it was not World War movies :D....it was good to see the The Constant Gardner...Cinderella Man.(could have been one of the winners as it does shows the time once Americans went through during that depression period and it shows the family ties and the values.the fight for food etc...seems like now American's have forgotten about that...just coz of all the power..)..and later to see the oscar awards...cool it was worth of them :) and guess what George Clooney got it as well....aah I like him so much :)!!!

“The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.”

So it was all fun and fun...but then a discussion came upon with my friends as we were disucssing the movie...the children of S. Africa and a thought came out from me ...adoption !!!

"Adoption is when a child grew in its mommy's heart instead of her tummy"

Yes...is it good to adopt or to have your own kids??? What is it that one looses if we adopt? What do we gain if we have our own???

“Adoption is not about finding children for families, it's about finding families for children” ~ Joyce M Pavao

Too many debates and points to ponder with the pros n cons...!!! True its such a dilemma...cant we love someone else's kid who is just left out by someone to face the world without any love or guidance...!

“It is better to light one small candle than to curse the darkness.”

What happens if we just share our love and what ever we have to provide ...just give to a child...who is already born ...without any one's consent and is already suffering...isnt it a noble way to share your things with them and give them a better future and make this earth a beautiful place!!! And for this some called me I am in a good company such as Mother Teresa & Bishop Desmond Tutu....calling me humanitarian!!!!

“We are afraid to care too much, for fear that the other person does not care at all.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

But with all the good things that we can provide...why cant one can have there own children...leave a mark in the world...who will be there even if you have gone from this universe...gosh!!!! who to give more points...in every aspect injustice is bound to happen whether its adoption or giving birth to own child!
I would like to know what my friends feel about these...am sure I can get some pros n cons too ;)

“Every great movement must experience three stages: ridicule, discussion, adoption” ~ John Mill

Add your thoughts...it improves everyone to wear a thinking cap on ;)

“Too many children in foster care are falling through cracks. . . . Be a hero -- take the time learn about adoption today.” ~ Bruce Willis ;)

Well frens ke view jaanne ki bajay Nuyi ka view jaanna jyada juroori hai :) :)

But since u have asked it go for two* one each for both condition...
...
* that is min considering u have 7mp CANON :) :)
Let me think from child/s p.o.v.
We always search for our roots..no matter how much love u shower on ur adopted child, one day when he knows abt the truth that he is adopted he will always try to find out his real identity. In some cases a child act of her non biological parents more as a pity or charity in comparison to pure love.

Aur ye yaad dilane ki juroorat nahin ki ........in q :)

I love the idea of adoption. In fact, I think I am going to adopt some/one as I settle down in life. I can't do it right now. I know it's hard for a child not to know his/her biological parents (as Manish pointed out), but I think it's better that he/she grows up with love and a family for support instead of just growing up in some orphanage or in the road. But, yes, if we do an adoption - we should be very ready for the huge burden - physically, mentally and psychologically. An example - as I child grows up and I don't like something of her, I should not blame her and her unknown parents (as we tend to do, thinking that our genes are responsible for everything about us!) for that. Because if I do that, I can psychologically damage that child.

Adoption ahs to be caried out.. by the love towards a kid.. not by sympathy of things like that.. !! Its ture that its a great thing to adopt a kid.. but the main problem that still persists one.. is how much can we trust!.. its the intution that takes over when the kid some mistake to relate things to their past.!! such kind of attitude should not be their!!.. And that is one of the reason that most who adopt a child are either childlesss.. or in other case they have one biological child and another one adopted one!!...

first I thought its gonna be a light post... the way u started off... bt then mam to bahut hi sanjida topic par aagayi :-))

I loved both the quotes on adoption...

I see no harm in adopting a kid...
what values more is how you feel for that person...
its not that the blood relations r always true n best...
:-))

Very nice post dear :-)

i know of a very nice and loving couple who have a cute and naughty son:-) and then they were sure they wanted a second child but they were also very very keen on a baby girl:-)...and so they adopted an adorable little baby girl:-)...and they're one happy family!

i don't see the cons in adoption...all one needs is more awareness and more luvving couples who wld make good parents...then again i wldn't limit it to couples! A good example is Sushmita Sen and her lil baby Renee:-)...

I'm glad u wrote about this and raised a debate...:-)...people will think and be aware:)...thanks:)

We dont gain anything just some ppl get a twitch of happiness wen its over to their own child but it isnt that wen u adopt someone that wont be ur OWN
You take a big responsibility to be a mentor of someone innocent and later u cant just kick out from it!!

When someone gives birth to a child, SHE RAISES A NEW LIFE

BUT BY ADOPTING SOMEONE, SHE INFUSES LIFE TO A DEAD HOPE!
