The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again

“To do is to be.” – Socrates
“To be is to do.” – Plato
“Do be do be do.” - Sinatra

ha ha ha :)

Today I am feeling some what homesick...:( naturally, when you meet your close friends after a long time and then part with them..its always painful. I was trying to concentrate on my work ...since I have stuff that needs to be completed.. before I go on my vacation...:) but still...an emptyness is still there...may be this is what is called missing....your friends....more or less the warmth...homeliness....togetherness....and lots of happiness :D

"It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives"

I know the feeling...been there done that ....aksar yeh geet yaad aata hai

Jeewan ke safar mein raahi
Milte hai bichhar jaane ko
Aur de jaate hai yaadein
Tanhaai mein tarpane ko

Good Luck

U knw wht ,u r fortunate enough tht u can meet ur friends and spend time wid them no matter for some hours or for a day.
There are many such ppl aswell (including me )who cant meet their most beloved frnds for even a sec:( but u see our hearts are closer than close, our souls are nearer than near and our thoughts for each other are always there :) our communication sometimes is under the mercy of wind who passes by my msges to her and give hers to me :D islisye kabhi kami mehsoos hi nahi hoti, it seems she's always with me,beside me,in my thoughts ,in my happiness,in my grief,in my every big/small decesion and in my every new step towards life :) aur jahan tak milnay ki baat hai i see her dialy in the form of moon :):)
woh kehtay hain na Umeed pay dunya kayam hai ;):D so cheeeer up and dont miss ur frnds as u miss someone when u forget someone ;)

Having moved from Connecticut to Florida last year (after decades in CT), I know the feeling well. We may get to visit a few friends in August on our way to Maine, but not many. Your words are so... REAL.

And I love your comic relief -- great photo and HIARIOUS Socrates/Plato/Sinatra thing!!

Thanks Dave..your words are source of encouragement & feels good when others also sense the same feeling...which means its natural to be like this :)
